I was about to play a game when I saw this error...I'll quote it I guess?

Scheduled maintenance for Sunday, August 14 at 9pm PST. We expect the maintenance period to last for approximately 2 hours. During this time Premium Content Purchases & AGI services will be unavailable. For updates you can follow us on twitter @armorgames

I was wondering what it meant by AGI services will be unavialable? Does it mean that the whole AG site will be down?

No. If you read it closely, it says:

During this time Premium Content Purchases & AGI services will be unavailable.


Just any premium content will be unavailable for that 2 hour period. Other then that, the site should be fine.

And AGi services meaning highscore and custom submissions. Stuff like that.

and online game saves, premium content (purchase or checking that you've already bought it), and pretty much everything on AG3 beta will break.

Also any "gameshares" -- things you create to share with other users like levels, castles, etc -- will be broken, along with any likes/plays.

Maintenance will begin in about an hour and should last about two hours, maybe less if all goes well (or we hit a catastrophic problem that stops us from doing this upgrade).

We'll probably have another maintenance window this week for the second database system which drives a lot of the AG3 beta site, but also affects portions of the AGI system, like premium content. High scores and gameshare creation/loading should work, but 'liking' and registering a 'lay' for them may not work properly.
