I was surfing the internet looking up information about the new Portal DLC when I found this: http://www.imdb.com/list/XkUMZ67G2u8/ After I read it I was pissed and wondered why they would do this to such great games. The one I was most surprised about thought is Asteroids, but honestly what do you think. Is Hollywood going to ruin every good book and game or will they wise up and not do it.
i don't think they are ruinning the games for they have no real atachment to them. they are, however; seting themselves up for failure for anything based on a beloved cassic is going to have to high of expectations from the fan base. It just goes to show that they have depleated their ideas for new films long ago.
beside the 1st 2 mortal combat movies.(and 1st street fighters movie) i think that all movies that are based on a games sucks prety bad. they lack story and lack the atmosphere that you feel while playing the game yourself. but the other way around is the same. games that are based on a movie suck prety bad also. the only great game that based on a movie is james bond goldeneye for N64. that game was almost a masterpiece.
