So it has recently been reported that the rebels have taken most of Tripoli and have even taken Gadaffis compound, so what is next for Libya? What will happen to Gadaffi and his supporters? Is Libya destined for more tyranny or a bright new future?

I have to say that its not over till its over. As Emperor has said, Gaddafi loyalists have taken back parts of the city. Could they possibly take back even more, maybe even take back other cities?

The thing that bothers me, Obama went into Libya without a declaration of war from congress and the liberal media praises him. When Bush invaded Iraq after 9/11, the media tore him to shreds. Explain the logic in that besides our media is so far left and they have their heads in their *****.

This will be interesting IF the story is true. The Libyans will think they can run free now. HOWEVER, NATO, US, UK, France, are all going to be staying for a while. Now that we have spent all this money "helping" you over throw your dictator. Our hand will be out, for this debt. Maybe the 144 tons of gold hidden in Libya?

According to all news reports I have seen and am literally watching right now, The area around Gadaffis compound is still a warzone, and Gadaffi snipers are still throughout the city.

The rebels are in control of most of it, please stop telling me that they haven't won yet and haven't captured all of Tripoli, I never said they had, I never said they had won the war and I only said they had most of Tripoli.

I can understand your arguement, but on September 18th, 2001, Congress decided that the President is authorized to use all necessary force to prevent future acts of international terrorism.
If you don't believe me search for S.J. Res. 23. (links aren't working right now%Pr

Libya is too tribal. I Don't expect to see the end of their fighting for quite some time.

Gaddafi offered to negotiate and the rebels refused. His soldiers also started killing detained civilians.

It cool down but only for a matter of hours. The conflict is far from over, there will be more mindless killing before anything ceases.

I just read America is sending a lot of millions of water. I will wonder what will happen with it.
I also read that they have taken the last Kadaffi base. True?
