I love Filter's cover of Happy Together, from the Stepfather. Actually, it's not a good movie but this song is freaky cool.
Otherwise, Playground Love by Air from Virgin Suicides, or Something in the air bu David Bowie (the movie remix) from American Psycho !

That's a tough question but I'll say Star Wars. How about TV-Series?
My choice would be Battlestar Galactica (the original series).

I'm not too sure about just one piece.
Although the Juno soundtrack is mind blowing.

I really like the The Beverly Hills Cop Theme it's so cool.

mine would probably be Easy A, Zombieland, Harry potter, Hayao Miyazaki films, and probably some musicals like wicked or something.

I like the song Ryuu no Shounen from the movie Spirited Away.

The Pixies - Where is my mind from Fight Club. Amazing song. I love the Pixies.

And for TV series my favorite song is the theme of SouthLAnd.

I love John Murphy, most notable for 28 days later and Sunshine soundtracks.

I'm still a huge fan of the pirates of the carribean soundtrack. just awesome

Both are slow to start, but are very memorable.

Most of the songs Phil Collins puts in Disney movies. I think most will recognize him from Tarzan, such as You'll be in my heart.
