"Ask a..." threads have been quite popular lately.

The threads allow the topics to remain more specific to a said religion without having to jumble everything into a generalized thread.

Everyone seems to be doing a good job keeping each thread distinct from one another when it comes to actual discussion.

However...

The threads are beginning to flood the WEPR section. There are currently 5 threads on the front page that begin with "Ask A..."

Though it's purely optional and will not result in a locked thread, I ask that everyone avoid titling their thread "Ask a..." for the time being. : )

Also, if any of the OPs of the "Ask a..." threads would like their thread title to be changed, go ahead and let me know.

I was just asking...I asked him to change the title of my thread later in the post.

But I was actually under the impression that the AA was a thread template, and therefore a safe start in the World Events, Politics, Religion forum for someone who hates religious debates with a passion. That's my bad. You can change the title of my thread, I really don't care.

You gave him permission to, you didn't ask him to.
I'm so just being moody today >.> Sorry.

If you'd like the name of your thread changed, you should post on a moderators profile what you would like it to be changed to.

I did that as well, but I figured that the point of this thread would partially be that.

You gave him permission to, you didn't ask him to.

But I figured that if I gave him permission, he would.

No, I'm sorry. I might have been a little defensive, I didn't get a lot of sleep last night.
Is it okay if I mock it just a little bit? Jokes make everything better.
Sound the trumpets, and call in the...magic...thread...marker thingies! For on this, the 31st day of August on the two thousand and eleventh year A.D., a thread will be newly christened! We call upon the powers of the Moderator, the Admin, and the Holy Toast to change the unoriginal and utterly annoying name of this thread to something never-seen-before even though the premise has already been beaten to death and therefore it is impossible! May the thread live long and not turn into another ridiculous debate. Ramen.

There's no point to ASk a... threads if people wanted to learn about a religion google it . And there are plenty of religious threads on the internet about how people feel about certain things in their religion.
Thanks, Snake.

this should be a sticky. then I would have a reason to actually read the opening post instead of just blindly posting irrelevant stuff on the third page
