If you are talking about the measurement, obviously we made up that.

Now time from now until then, that is nature with a name placed on it.
All we did was point out the obvious about the sun.
Then assumed we know what all time is.

There always has been past, present, and future.
However counting days, months, years, etc.. I think is cocky.
I don't believe one or million people have that right.

I mean does it really matter how long ago something happened,
or when something will happen?

From my point of veiw, without time, everything will be in disorder, the reason for time was to calibrate us to other's even if we are far away, also time helps alot with GPS. If you don't know when something will happen, how will you know that it ever took place?

so everyone tinks that time is a tool for measurement correct...

but there is something out there but not our standard time... the funny thing is that we dont even have the same time on earth

Timezones were made for train systems.

Well, if we were talking about history without saying when it happened, such as wars and stuff, everyone would be really mad at eachother for anything a nation did to another nation. People in the Middle East are still upset about the CRUSADES.

Well, on the fact of humans naming things that aren't there, I could be a troll and state any deity from a religion, but that's not fair.

In a more scientific manner, when the periodic table was being developed by Mendeleev, he named substances and gave their properties before they were discovered. He merely guessed that there might be elements like that. Ironically, we did find some elements that matched his descriptions.

I don't see the irony in there. I think what he did was make very educated guesses.

I agree. It might be considered irony if he was trying to prove that those elements didn't exist or something, but that wasn't the case.

Time just changes. There's 24 hours in a day. But if you were on another planet and it was twice as big as earth that means the days would be twice as long.

Not necesarily. It would depend on the rotation rate, not the size of the planet.
