She looks like a Pixar character, except for the mouth, if you replace that with an open mouth, probably a smile or a laugh, I could totally see her in a movie. I like the hair, the (shading, undertones?) look really nice.
I am (apparently) rather good at hair. Hair and blood might actually be the only two things I am actually talented at for some reason. But thank you.
Either way, since I don't have games to play like the rest of the mods, I can only sit back and draw when the lag overcomes AG without rest (Staff, please fix it, thnx). So, here, approved by Strop:
Yes. I have already reported this monstrosity, and I hope the artist gets banned for life!
-- WARNING: THIS POST CONTAINS MERMAID NUDITY. PLEASE PRESS BACKSPACE TO RETURN TO YOUR NORMAL BROWSING ROUTINE. I am in an odd limbo of art. I feel motivated and inspired, but it is a vague form of inspiration, which kinda leaves me with no ideas, and just that need to indulge in some art making, preferably something huge and awesome and epic and, well, something I most likely wouldn't be able to accomplice. More so, I am getting behind on my Nano because of this and my exam papers, but I apparently can't turn the motivation towards writing, so I guess it is fairly artblocky.
Either way, managed to finish something else, but it needs the prequel-comic, and I won't be uploading it here because it is silly, but finishing is good. Other that that I have been ruining my wrist on some practising of stuff I am really bad at, which I guess is just about worthy for uploading, since the finished art doesn't get much response anyway. So, rantyrant, here, have some colours.
I admire the people who can get this really paintery feel to their art, especially by blending as many colours as possible and then, poof, have something epic. Then again, same thing goes for most painting techniques because it usually looks really realistic and alive...
Same deal, just with some lineart. I kinda thing I screwed it up a bit. I can't handle coloured lineart, though that was actually where my digital adventures started back in the days. I think I kinda feel behind on that.
Not so many colours, rather we have something almost dynamic and with a more live feel to it than anything I do otherwise. I think it is the sketchy lines, but it would be nice to be able to go from that and into something actually refined and done, but still having that dynamic feel to it. Oh well, one's gotta dream.
Your mermaid is showing about as much skin as a nun. -_-*
I did like the picture though, although the "human" half seemed more goulish than it did human, or perhaps that was just the head. I loved the way the colors blended together, and then her face and hair just seemed to stand out. (You're ridiculously good at drawing hair!)
Also are you the drunken bum that poor Strop is being forced to carry, the expression on his face his hilarious.
Your mermaid is showing about as much skin as a nun. -_-*
Well, apparently my fully dressed girls earlier was considered porn, and Strop's censored picture got considered rule breaking, so apparently I can't be too careful. Which is also why some of my best works isn't getting posted, because that would simply burn away braincells.
I AM ridiculously good at drawing hair. /only pride But yes, thanks. I have to say I was a little distracted when trying to get the hair to look right, since I have a habit of watching movies or TV while I draw, so it is kinda standing out wrong a bit to me, mainly the hairline. Besides that, I never was much into the mermaid legends, even though they were fairly interesting, when it came down to it, but I was more interested in griffins and dragons and the like, not so much sea critters... I think the above picture kinda reflects that.
And yes, that would be me. Or Cen, at least. He is also blowing raspberries into Strop's hair, which is probably really annoying, and I have no idea where his shoes went, even in the scene/story that follow the picture, but I assume it is the same place his glasses go to when they disappear as well. Probably Narnia. I will refrain from saying what Strop decided to share about what he would do as revenge for the spitting, though.
what happens in the bedroom, stays in the bedroom.
Thanks for nasty, man...
You should spill.
I shouldn't. I will, however tell you how it sounds to be around Strop with a massive hangover, while you contemplate killing yourself so you don't have to deal with said hangover. "HEY ARE YOU UP YET WE NEED TO GO BEER TASTING HERE IS THE TRASH CAN I MADE COFFEE FOR YOU BELIEVE IN YOURSELF YOURS ARE THE DRILL THAT WILL-" "SHUT AAAAAAAAAAAAP!!"
And there would be pain and suffering.
Also do you have a Deviant Art or Photobucket where you've actually posted all your works, because I would love to see them.
I actually upload insanely little to my deviantART account for no particular reason. There is stuff there that doesn't get posted here, but there is plenty here that doesn't get posted there either. And most, if not all, gets uploaded to my photobucket account, with the private settings, because dear God, I have a lot of crap that I don't want people to see. Or that I can't allow people to see, because of the blood and violence to stupidity. Especially the stupidity.
Indeed not. But having tried to be in the same room as a beer tasting with a hangover, I would consider it a great threat. Same goes for the coffee, which is just a mean drink.
I was trying to find some pictures I hadn't posted, but since Strop's suggestion was "orn", I don't think I will > >
And spoilerish for the rewrite of the WoM, perhaps, but not to the actual run. Also, that would be Madam Porcupine. She is scary. Oh, and, yes, once again a shoes and glasses was lost.
Other than that, I think I posted these two before, but pokemon is always good:
First one is a lined version of a sketch Zophia did.
