I don't think I ever bothered writing about Sai. She was always intended as a non player character or at least a peripheral character. Before Strop decided to involve her in the WoM, she was a simple personification of my art programme, the cruel mistress that decided to leave me when I had just had the taste of love and passion (And that came out way more creepy than intended), mainly because Easy Paint Tool Sai has a thirty day trial period, and I found it to be awesome.
Strop found this funny, so he decided to include her to further torture Cen/"give Cen something good", which I can't really say worked. After that, she evolved a little as a character, and besides getting a little rounder and with a personality, her hair has been growing a few inches as well, starting out rather short to the back. I also believe she had her ears pierced and had a tattoo, but that was scrapped soon after.
But, thanks to my marvellous ability to have an imagination... She got herself a background story and so on, which I guess I will rant-ily include below.
My ignorance of Sai makes me wonder about the hat.
I think they are usually included in either steam punk, because top hats are expensive, and those small ones are cute, or gothic lolita for the same reason.
But you make nice bustiers with frills!
And it was torturous.
I think I lack the knowledge to actually draw most clothing items, and I am really bad at using references.
Oh, and: You should continue Beta.

I might recolour that lineart properly when I stop being a ball of nervous energy, so she stop being a technicolour BGirl. But the amount of black really do annoy me, and one of these days I am going to disregard of Strop's references and make her a blonde, though blonde hair is annoying to shade. I guess I can't have everything.
As for the drawings being crappy, well, I have done better. I have a general hatred towards doing lineart because I have such a short attentionspan, and I like colours better, which means most of my art is dragged down a lot because I rushed the lines and then lost motivation and patience just before I got to the colours.
I would show what it looks like when I actually care, but most of those involve a massive amount of gore and blood, and that is a little harder to censor than girls groping each other.
And the rage quit: Well... Yeah...
I think I might need to get myself to do a large picture with stuff I don't like to do and actually do it properly, but that will have to wait for the nervous energy disappears.

On Sai.
She is the lone child of two wealthy parents, and considered their little princess. She has never worked in her life and lives off her parents, even though she lives alone in a huge studio (given to her by her parents), where she paints, miraculously doing so rather well.
Even though she has pretty much everything in life, she used her teens being an angsty emo girl, both in style and personality, along with other rich kids being angsty and emo. A general amount of disregard meant that she had a fair lot of boyfriends, but none of them really did stuck for various reasons.
Her best friend is a flamboyant gay fellow, as she has a hard time making friends with other girls due to having grown up as a little princess without many girls around. Besides, she has a weird jealousy... thing.
Girly girl, happy-go-lucky and usually wearing happy colours and weird combinations of both colours and clothing items. Likes colouring one of the bangs of hair different colours for whatever reason (usually it is a bright purple/pink).
Has boundary issues, gets flirty while drunk, not really girlfriend material due to this. Adventurous in certain aspects of her life. Can't cook, dislikes doing her laundry, can hardly manage cleaning her studio and has the money to avoid it all.
Oddly naive and a bit left behind when it comes to other people. Gets violent when angry due to how her former relationships went through, lazy unless it involves partying. Can't play first person shooters, will pwn Strop at arcade combat games.
Cheats during card games, as she hates to lose, will flash you if she thinks she will gain an advantage.
