Arcuz 2...fun and just as grindy as the first one!

Anyone have any tips for this game? Any epic builds or ideas on how to level up quickly and get better gear?

So far I've just been stacking luck. Around lvl 10 at the moment...

Count me among the dorks who cannot get the stupid Elf Poem. I tried three small earth crystals and the stone of blessing, but no good.

I can't even read the whole poem, so I can guess it. It is always the same? Is there a way I can re-read a quest?

I didn't have a problem with Cerberus. I had Hurricane and Storm Elemental loaded, and just alternated throwing them at him. And I used the Offense potion for more punch. While I waited for my big hits to reload, I just fired up extra speed and ran around.

I have 10 different trial stones, none of which will work because they are all too "low" as far as their level versus my level..this isn't a bad thing, lol because you can't stack them and they take a lot of room up in my "saved items". Just one question..I'm attempting to get to the 2nd boss..around level 16, you begin to fight wizards etc that cast spells. A small green box shows up at the lower left if you're hit by one of these spells. What is this spell? Poison? (since it's green, lol) and what do I level up to resist these spells better? Magic resistance maybe? Also, some have mentioned "set" items (weapon, shield, etc.). What makes up an entire "set" of items, and are they identified by the color of the "box" that the item is in, or are they identified by the name of the items? Sorry this is so long, but I figured I'd ask everything in one post, lol.

I think the skeleton wizards fire a variety of spells, such as lowering your attack power or your speed. But the yellow anti-hex potion disspells it.

Those trial stones are so helpful. I can't believe I missed out on 4 or 5 of them at a lower level. Those weapons you get are great.

@Haisan..I guess I'll have to go into the early dungeons and see if I can get more trial stones. Stupidly, I kept the ones that were lower leveled, now I can't use them because I'm level 29. Trouble is, with no instructions or directions on what they were, or how to use them, who knew to hang onto them?? BTW, I was wrong..it's on dungeon 15 that the skeleton wizards show up. At least there's a teleport on Dungeon 15 that get's you past all those ridiculous traps, lol.

@jimmie123 Skeleton Wizards casts Curses. We can't really define what curses are, but you can guess by looking at the debuff icon. You can use the passive skill called Protection from Evil, it raises your resistance to curses. But imho, it's a waste of AP because you can use the Hex Cleanser potions.

An entire set is armor, gloves, helm, boots, weapon and a shield(or another weapon in case of dual wield I believe). Set items are commonly the purple "box" ones, you can figure out of what set a piece of equipment belongs by looking at the name right before it's name(Ancestral Set, Hero Set, Battle Armor, Vampirc Set, Shadow Set and etc). In an set equipment description you can find some bonuses and an unique set ability(some sets doesn't have) that you can get by equiping the entire set. Those will be avaliable in the skill window after you equip the set, just look at the icon with an question mark.

trial stones are an amazing way to level up fast and get like 8 green chests

soon as u get a trial stone combine it, make a gate, and go in, the mobs are one level above you, combo them never get hit...then fight the shadow using bladestorm should easily win...if not jump around do it again you get trial stone II

this has more rooms more mobs for exp, another shadow II drops 2 chests and trial stone III

this works all the way upto trialstone V, which gives me insane exp, but the shadow V is s beast, my only 3 moves was bladestorm....its not even worth getting near him and he has a nasty drag in void zone while he does a charge slash, most likely 1 shotting you if you dont avoid it.

he gives you 4 chests as your reward, and an achievement

@Chemical_z....Thanks for explaining the "sets". I sort of figured that's what it was...I'm lvl 29 now and have several "set" pieces equipped..still need a piece or two to complete the set. I saw where certain sets did give extra abilities etc - that's what I'm shootin' for, lol Dungeon 15 is proving to be a real challenge..there are some skeleton wizards (the "bigger" ones) that are fairly tough to kill, but I'll get by them sooner or later, lol.

@Linheli

To do duel wield, try sword instead, it is always reliable between damage/range/speed in falcon(damage- range- speed+) and axe(damage+ range+ speed-).

What I have is mainly about these passive skills:

Assassin
Last Stand
Battle Frenzy
Protection from evil

There are only few active skill I have since I'm still low levels(28), but I feel it is well enough to challenge this game. First boss is killed in level 20, by just attack and avoid without any real tactics. On the way moving to second boss. Those weapon mastery aren't worthy to invest any points unless you need to unlock those finish moves (which isn't used in duel wielding).

Defense isn't a problem since I can finish minions very quickly and when I face bosses I use defense/magic resistance potion. What kills me is mainly about permeate stun + magic damage of any types, so basically you don't need armour but magic resistance instead. Also with Battle Frenzy you'll have much better chances to avoid all damage in that trigger hit, because it works like block and triggers berserk state.(even higher damage but lower defense, just like active skill Berserk and berserk potion.)

I killed skeleton king in about level 2x-ish in first try, I don't remember what level I was exactly, as same as old doing, hit and run without any real tactics. So I have confidence that my trying isn't wrong. I almost defeat Org (final boss in Arcuz I), simply spin around him, but get killed by lack of defense at last. It is so funny to see bosses get berserk too. Still need to accumulate magic defense %, now it is only 6%, not enough at all.

How are you supposed to beat the final boss again if he is level 125 and the max level is 120? All damage against him is reduced to single digits because of the level difference.

Played a hacked version, by the way, so don't ask me for boss tips.

Skeleton Wizards are nasty enemies. I don't want to fight them if they were a group with some elite ones in the horde. They cost curse like machine gun. You won't find anyway to remove negative effects, because there is always a next. Your action is constantly interrupted by their spells. And they summon their kind!

After killing one, another one and next one, I finally gave up and ran away. Just skip that horde, trust me. XD

@jimmie123 yes, they are useless then, sell or drop them anywhere. And the way I figure out is to try ... many times and I get it to the core)

Can anybody tell me is the secret of the Arcuz's village, I heard someone said that it was the tree or the well. I've tried so much, crashed my keyboard and gotten nothing, at the fourth or fifth time I don't want my keyboard pass away so I stop
