i hardly believe that the lotr series is iteresting i mean all they do is walk around for too hours. and if your wondering yes i did get that off of clerks two and ding they hit th nail on the head. plus what is the purpose is watching people go walk you know you can do it yourself. plus the story line is sooo boring which you can't understand it.
Maybe YOU can't understand the story line... But i sure can. I don't think LOTR is dumb. I don't understand how you call HUGE fight seens and stuff "walking around for two hours"
go pick up the books and read them(if u read at all), makes the movies 100Xs better. Besides that the fighting scenes are F'ing amazing and lotr:rotk won 12 academy awards...can't argue with that, even if i hate the publics opinion usually, its 12!...
The book: Basically the first of its genre. If you don't like it for the story, like it for the history. The movie: One of the few movies off of books that don't suck. Some of it is walking, yes. Walking through Scandinavian hillsides with very good angling and lighting. It has nice music, too. Paramount are the battles, which take up most of the movie. "The story line is boring and you can't understand it." Sounds kinda contradictory to me. "all they do is walk around for too hours." And sports are just people running, books are just chunks of wood, and the world is just a hunk of dirt.
the person who started this forum is probably uninteligent,(no offense)if you cant understanf the story-line,thenyou MUST be unintelligent.they dont just walk around,they fight and stuff too.i, personnally, like fighting seans .have you even watched the movie or read the book?i dod'nt even read the book till after i watched the movie and it made complete sense.
LotR is one of my favorite trilogies of all time for thoe of you who dont like it then read the books and it makes so much more sense at first i didnt like it then i read the books and it was such a beter movie the fights are awesome and have really good special effects
