Already a thread like this... but w/e.

The only conflict I can see right now is a China v. The Democratic World war, as China is the last communistic Great Power in the world. It probably will be hard-fought, but victory will be inevitable.

Let me put it this way. Here's the 5 most powerful countries on Earth.

1. The USA
2. Russia
3. The PRC
4. The UK
5. France

Three out of five of those countries are NATO members, and the other hates China more than NATO. Stalinist Communists and Maoist Communists were not friends (See Mongolia).

With the power of nearly every other Great Nation backed up by the full military might of the sole superpower, The United States, China would be defeated relatively quickly.

How would this start? I have no idea. In all honesty, the above is just the most probable WW3 scenario. The world probably won't have another World War for quite some time, no one wants to clean up after one of those, and the world is too interdependent to worry about killing each other.
