What are your ideas about how the big bang started?

There's already a thread for this, called "Reasons to be Atheist"

This thread makes no sense. Not all atheists agree with science.

All atheists might not, but apparently all athiests do. Has anyone ever met an athiest? I hear they're quite interesting.

In seriousness does that title of the of this thread strike anyone else as an attempt at insult?

It does sound a bit like mockery, but I wouldn't go right to insult.
What are your ideas about how the big bang started?

It was just there, once science gets more evidence of why it was there, than I could answer this a bit more clearly.

And Christians say "God was there. Once he comes back, he'll tell you all about it." There's just not enough evidence on either side to completely prove/disprove one or the other.

Is this thread only for atheists? Im not athiestic but im beginning to think i might be agnostic.

The explanation I have heard most about is that the big bang occurred, the ball of lava that was earth cooled, the gasses formed the atmosphere, and the oxygen and hydrogen fused to create h2o from the intense heat. The water heated and the electricity from the atmosphere and the friction of the Earth which was still settling charged particles "to life" creating single celled prokaryotes. After some genetic mutation the procaryotes began splitting into multiplecelled organisms, which eventually became fish, then lizard type creatures, mammals, primates, dinosaurs, neanderthals, humans. Im not sure what caused the almost complete extinction of any life on earth, but this is just the theory that makes most sense to me.

no the OP only wanted to mock athiests for not knowing how the big bang happend.
i just wated to turn the topic into something usefull. and kept the same line of the OP about that we can't give god as reason. so we can actualy give evidense for something that they claim that god did. (aka mocking him back a little =) )

We don't know for sure, though there are a number of good hypotheses. The leading one indicates that it was the result of quantum fluctuations.

There's already a thread for this, called "Reasons to be Atheist"

Since this seems to be more on talking about science rather then religion (which would get covered in reasons to be atheist) This could run it's own course. Though a name change might be in order.

"What are your ideas about how life started?

Likely how it's depicted here.
The Origin of Life - Abiogenesis - Dr. Jack Szostak

Now there is debate on the exact order of things occurring and some conditions in which it occurred. For instance the inclusion of these compounds forming by first being absorbed in pours rock where they might have a better chance of running into each other then floating free.
With the puzzle of abiogenesis it's like we have all the pieces but different pieces are fitting in the same spot.

Is this thread only for atheists? Im not athiestic but im beginning to think i might be agnostic.

While it might be directed at atheists I'm sure that doesn't mean it excludes theists.
As for your steps you have lots missing in between but okay for a generalization.

This title is very misleading...it makes it sound like another thread where a dumb religious person is totally failing to prove anything true about their religion with hilarious nonscientific evidence and explanations to atheists.
