Fable developer Lionhead is apparently working on a fourth incarnation of the role-playing series. The supposed launch is in 2013 for Fable 4 to allow time for the studio to squeeze out Kinect-enhanced Fable: The Journey???
That just sounds amazing to me. I have loved the Fable series and they continue to get better in my opinion! But now for the Kinect?! I would like to know everyone's thoughts on this
What, they get better. They don't. The only thing that gets better are the graphics. So I don't call it an improvement. I finished Fable 1 in 6 days with tears in my eyes. Fable 2 was completed 3 days from release, and the story was okay. From Fable 3 I bought a special edition and I completed it at the same day as the release, and I hated the story. I was so mad and the game felt so bad, I throws the special edition outside and didn't look at anything Fable again.
Agreed. But game-play wise... does it seem as its going towards a more "Social" as in more family and Character interactions (I haven't even touched Fable 3 but saw the option to Adopt Children) I should scavenge my the depths of my closet for Fable 1 copy...

I thought the Fable game going to the Kinect was a spin-off? Maybe I heard it wrong. Anyway, agreed with the almost-undefined downward slope of gameplay value from the Fable series' latest game. It was completely horrendous to play when there was a terrible storyline and the play style was even more limited past the second. I don't know how the Kinect one will play out, but if they ever want my money, they better step up making Fable4 an actual game.

TheFable the creator meant is Fable : The Journey and is a spin-off made for kinect (because Microsoft want most new games to do something with kinect, look at Fable and Mass Effect 3). But I believe Lionhead is making a fourth one.
I am not excited about this Kinect Fable game one bit. I feel like kinect games just take out half the quality of a game JUST because its on kinect. They remind me of Wii games...
