Less than a week now until the release of Coldplay's fifth studio album, ''Mylo Xyloto''.

Thoughts? Apprehension? Anticipation?

Personnaly, I can't wait. Though not the Coldplay I held so dearly in my heart, the upward, new wave sound looks very interesting, especially in tracks where the cascading music powers Chris's voice, i.e. Paradise.

Guess my iTunes freaked or something. Because that (was) the order that there in. Re-downloaded the album, and they appeared in the correct order this time.

Wonder how that happened. :/

It's kind of sad that the two most popular songs on the album are Paradise and Princess of China, and they're the most &quotoppy." Shows people have no taste in music... (that was a joke... kind of.)

Paradise is a good song, though I ussualy don't like Pop-ish music. My personal favorites on the album are Charlie Brown and Up With the Birds.

The lyrics on all the songs are good, just the beats aren't the greatest sometimes.

His faves are probably Major Minus, Up in Flames, DLIBYH, and DEFINITLY Up With The Birds!

liking pop doesn't show a bad taste in anything. Pop is supposed to be catchy to sell.

I've heard bits and pieces of Mylo Xyloto but I havent really listened to the album because I've been busy with school. Is it a good album? and what songs do you guys recommend listening to the most? (Coldplay is some great music)

That's why it was a joke... saying that people should ONLY love coldplay. (which is not what people should do though!)

Thaboss would recommend Up With The Birds or Major Minus.

Kinda hard to read jokes and sarcasm and such on the internet unless you specifically say it's a joke? or have some kind of sign or something. Thanks for the recommends though.

Random side note. On the sheet music of Moving to Mars (from musicnotes.com) it says "Moving to Mars from: Coldplay- Mylo Xyloto" even though the song wasn't on the album.
