Well, politics arnt really my strong suit, but I do read. So I decided to do some reading, and according to this article Obama is pulling U.S troops out of Iraq. So, what do you think about this? Good idea, bad, whatever you think.

Even with a full troop withdrawal, a very small number of military personnel will remain in Baghdad and at U.S. diplomatic facilities to help Iraq with matters such as purchases of American weapons systems, including Abrams tanks and F-16 fighters. But there will be no long-term military-led training program.

aka, we are going to leave. but some people stay behind to sell them weapons. we are going to tell them how the weapons work. but not train them. so that is good. xD lol

anyway good news beside the part i quoted.

What? I honestly don't think it's over yet. It might be over for now. But we have like 3 billion more years on this planet and the very same type of war can easily happen again. If thats what you are wondering. And darn I thought this was about the end of the world not the end of a war. :P

It never is ''your'' ''responsibility.'' The US claims to be the world's policeman, and there are people on both camps for and against it. It is the UN's responsibility to prevent anything on this scale, not a single sovereign state.

The UN are a bunch of hipocrytes! Who want to takeover parent's children. I mean giving a child rights? The parents can't have any control over them. If they wanted a peacefull world why would they want to take away parental rights?

Because of Sadam Hoessein. He indetectly started the wars in the gulf. He played his part in the war between Iraq and Iran and he invaded Koeweit which started the second Gulf war.

south sudan became independent just last summer. and tibet was taken over after ww2. and russia tryed to invated Georgia just a few year ago. not a single nation will stand forever.

The UN are a bunch of hipocrytes!

i c the UN as usa's 2nd government who trys to politic the world.
the usa is waayy more inside the UN then other countrys and it seems like they are simply using the UN for their wars.

Exactly. The terrorists, but not the whole country of Iraq. So we actually did start the war. To put this simply...
"You can't blame a 100 people for the actions of five."
-From a movie about a guy going to live with a Muslim family, and having to adopt their customs for thirty days.

Plus the guys that crashed into the Pentagon and then the guys that crashed into the field.

Terrorist declared war on us when they destroyed the World Trade Centers.

America already had military stationed in the Middle East and Iraq before the turn of the century. The WTC just led to heightened tensions and turned most of the American people against the Middle East.

They are partly responsible, because they harbored the terrorist and did not fully cooperate when we asked for help in finding the leaders responsible for the attack.
