Elephants are too slow, take far too long to train and make any form of turn-based movement a pain. And why don't you like Horse Archers? In an non-enclosed battlefield you can force your enemy into action with them, then quickly retreat behind your infantry before even the fastest cavalry can hurt you.

Anyway, Wagner finally makes it back to his tent. He doesn't bother trying to keep looking for the kid, just curls up with a consolatory cigar and alcohol.
