The Germans leave despite Heiskanen's protests. Richthofen absolutely refuses to get into an actual firefight with the civilians.

Are there any areas without trenches, and what entrances are there?



the trenches are all around connected and there is are 2 entrances going straight through the middle of camp from the back to the front facing behind the lines and towards Japanese lines respectively

Are the trenches narrow enough to be leapt over, and are all sides (Except for the entrances, of course) surrounded by tall grass?

also in Shogun 2 there is some amazing moves in individual combat. I had a whole unit (120 ish) of Naginata Samurai fighting a SINGLE Samurai Retainer (these guys don't run) and the move that amazed me is after he parried the spear of one, the naginata charge him, Samurai grabbed his spear and stabbed his gut. And that was only one of the moves i've seen happen

They try to avoid the German patrol. Lt. Richthofen knows what will happen to the civilians if higher-ranking German officers get involved, and it won't be anything good. They'll just have to try and neutralize the village again later.
