FINALLY!
now you can make your own class, but explain it
to the sheet!

Widened, more spherical but smaller sections of trench with more sandbags/overall fortification for a fall-back position if part of the trench is overrun; extra supplies can also be stored here so soldiers can resupply without going too far.
That would get crowded quick if a section of the trench was overrun, and crowding would be dangerous. It would have to be pretty **** wide to avoid that, but otherwise I agree.
Use the timber for poles to mount camo netting on, fill in the gaps with sandbags with firing slots and an opening facing outwards for an MG for the makeshift bunkers.
The gaps in the sandbags are firing slots, and MGs don't need a special firing slot. What would be the purpose of the camo netting? To prevent malaria?

It's more supply storage than fall-back position for the overall purpose.

Shade, minor protection from frags and harder to spot by strafing planes.

But I thought we were gonna store our supplies in the center of the defense circle, where we won't lose our supplies and be completely ****ed if the enemy overruns an unfortunate part of the trench?

The minor protection from frags part is bogus, but I see your point. Camo netting it is. Also to protect against malaria. Dem mosquitoes don't mess around.

It'd be at most 2 boxes of ammo and a bundle of grenades each, with more generous amounts in the bunkers; all the vital supplies, like all food, water, fuel and the greater portion of the munitions, would be stored in the tent area, the fuel and munitions in a camo netted pit so there isn't an epic explosion from strafers.

Name: Karl von Richthofen. Age: 21. Gender: Male. Class: Fallschirmjager Assault. Nationality: German[Axis]. Personality: Disciplined but compassionate; loyal to God before country; intelligent but courageous. Phy.Desc.: Tall, muscular, Caucasian, blonde hair, blue eyes. Traits: jeebus save meh!: you get the occasional life saver, from teh OP god himselves, call me Cheesus Bio: He was raised in a very wealthy, prominent German family in Frankfurt am Main. His family was very religious, and strict discipline and morals were instilled in him from a young age, as well as extreme patriotism. Almost fanatically loyal, Richthofen joined at the beginning of the war, having been fooled by the recruitment propaganda and under the belief that the war was a good place and that he was serving Germany. When he first saw a concentration camp, however, he learned quickly that was not the case. Instead of deserting, which would've gotten him killed and been very dishonorable, Richthofen instead decided to continue serving Germany, but will defer to the Geneva Convention as well. Perk: Multilingual. ---------------------- Squad: Franz-Johann Wagner[Fallschirmjager Sniper], Dietrich Beckenbauer[Fallschirmjager Infantry], Kristof-Dominik Boross[Fallschirmjager Pilot], Markus Heiskanen[Fallschirmjager Machine Gunner], Erik Straussberg[Infantry], Josef-Heinz Metzinger[Assault], Philipp-Claus von Wittgenstein[Medic], Radovan Blutrescu[Sniper], Stanmir Kazhislov[Machine Gunner]. Others: 1 Sniper, 2 Medic, 1 Machine Gunner, 1 Assault, 1 Pilot. Weapons: MP 34, Walther P38, 3 Model 24 Grenades, 1 Model 42 Nebeleihandgranate, 3 Panzerwurfmines, Kampfmesser 42. Uniforms: Military Fatigues, Modified Steel Helmet, Parachute/Harness. Misc.: Radio, Survival Kit, 20 ft. Parachute Cord.
Errbody digs their bit of the trench, some do it with less complaints than others. Which is to say, everyone keeps their trap shut but Wagner, who complains pretty much the entire time. For the most part, he gets tuned out.
on one of the watches at 1900, a 2 man patrol moves up the hill woefully oblivious to your position
Kazhislov and Wagner, the two snipers, both take aim, but Richthofen holds up a hand. "Hold your fire," he orders them in German. "Wait until they are closer."

As they near you overhear in low voices, obviously they don't believe a presence to be up here
"So hows the wife?"
"Oh, griping about how of i come home in a box she wouldn't know what ta do"
"Hmpf...so ya hear, officers gonna have us take the hill tomorrow morning, making us get up early" he mocks a man with a southern accent "And take dat' hill dere' tuh make shure no germans get up there"

SARGE FROM RVB? "I tell ya what, Grif. Imma a fair man. Imma give ya a fifteen second head start 'fore I let Lopez here do whatever he wants to ya."
Richthofen's eyes narrow. He keeps his right hand up palm open, signalling to hold fire. He puts the index finger of his left hand to his lips, signalling for silence.
