Bringing out a tank into the streets is sort of a bad idea. Not a lot of room to maneuver, and plenty of places for sneaky little *******s with anti-tank weapons to hide. Would work great if the soldiers were sent in to clear out the buildings and narrow places like alleys first, then the tank was deployed to clear the streets themselves.
