I want it to be more like san andreas with skills to learn. We could have like a long time to hot wire a car in the beginning but the timeit takes could decrease as you leveled up.
Eh, looks a lot like IV, but I think it's going to be set in San Andreas; I saw the "Vine Wood" sign near the end and that' in San Andreas. Hopefully it'll have offline multiplayer, otherwise I probably won't buy it.
Would anybody care to post a link to the video so that I can view it? And Ghost it's set with Niko as Rockstar realised a statement saying that all future GTA's will be about Niko Bellic
Thanks, just watched it, you never know people change, but I don't know that's what they said not me! But it does look like GTA San Andreas. But I did notice there is a jet in it so we probably will be able to fly them!
It wouldn't make sense to have Niko as a character in this game; listen to the guy talking, then look back at GTA IV. Also, Niko's either Russian, Croatian, or Serbian and he also has an accent, the man speaking in the video sounds American.
So from the video and reading some comments: - Jets and planes. - Able to sell properties. - Is set in San Andreas (Vinewood sign and car plates lead me to believe this) and is probably a big map because if you look at the car plates it has different city names. - New character considering he doesn't sound anything like the others. From the looks and sounds of it the character is Hispanic. - Improved graphics.
actuall know, this time you're a Black person And in San Andreas.i know this is stupid but i think it's a sequel to San Andreas but then again,he said it at the start of the Trailer,[Why did i come to this city?May be because of the weather]so probably a new person AND he's definetly OLD.He said he had a family.
I doubt it from the looks and sounds of it, especially from what many others have been speculating, but we won't know until something more revealing comes out.
I'd guess it's Tommy from Vice City or a new character, possibly Hispanic or Italian. But considering Tommy was born in 1951 and if this game is set in the years 2000+, then it's unlikely they'd give us an old guy as the main character. So I'm leaning towards it's a new character that sounds a lot like Tommy.
I've seen the trailer and it's great to go back to San Andreas with awesome graphics.
That's not really something I'd enjoy. To me that's just replaying the same game in the same city but with improved graphics. I'd much prefer a new setting, probably somewhere other than the U.S.
There's nothing the the trailer that made me really think, 'wow I need to play this game.' I know its supposed to be story based but it misses that pizzazz GTA IV gave when it was said to be based in New York. I would've liked to see it still be in a big city somewhere like Chicago. Big buildings are always fun in sandbox games. In fact, now that I think about it they could've at least given us a teaser of the actual gameplay engine, I'm assuming its going to be built off of Red Dead or LA Noire.
We already know about San Andreas as the setting, and the voice from the trailer does sound hispanic. The other details listed here sound cool, but you never know they could be too good to be true. I loved San Andreas and I think IV missed a lot of things that were cool like vehicle modding, parachutes, flying vehicles that aren't all helicopters, and fun cheats like cars that can drive on water.
Yep, most things people have mentioned around the web is just speculation. The video didn't give much detail about anything other than the setting and voice of a character.
There is really only two things I want from this game: Offline multiplayer and a long story mode. The story in GTA IV was rather short, when I checked how much time it took me to complete it the meter said 22 hours, and that was without cheat codes. I remember III, Vice City, and San Andreas taking me much longer to complete (with cheat codes).
Anyway, I didn't expect Rockstar to give us a "family man" type character. They mentioned he has a child, and I think he might be married.
He is Married,Apparently he moved to San Andreas so he could ESCAPE from his past,But things got a Whole lot worse(or something like that)there are just so many rumors,Like:You can Buy Property(Buisness?)
Interestingly enough, it turns out the details from the /v/ leak I found turned out to be right. Or rather didn't turn out to be wrong yet. ;P
The leak DID note specifically that San Adreas returns and that the main character is hispanic. If it turns out the guy is named Adrian, then we actually have some legitimate info on our hands. o-0
