I want it to be more like san andreas with skills to learn. We could have like a long time to hot wire a car in the beginning but the timeit takes could decrease as you leveled up.
The game goes back to the old San Andreas.. It takes part in "Vinewood" which is supposed to be a copy of Hollywood aswell as "Los Santos" (Los Angeles). I Think this game is going to be a best seller whenever it's going to be released (Maybe 2012). I am very excited about who is going to play the role, and the story.
I would prefer it to be someone completely new, the comment about children definitely hints to someone who's been around the block, it was a tired man who was speaking. Tommy was a lot of fun to play, although I'd rather not play a game like GTA with a senior citizen.
Matrix made a good point with the accent, Niko had grown up in the Baltic states, odds are his voice is going to always carry that accent, so that limits the chances of it being Niko.
Have we considered that the man speaking wasn't the protagonist, but rather one of the more pivotal characters, and the protagonist may have been one of his children, i.e. the man running from the cops.
That's another way of looking at it, but from what I remember they showed the main character and/or voice in all the GTA trailers, so that could be him talking and the guy running. If you pay close attention the man running looked like the guy in the car, about to rob a bank, and somewhere else I believe.
But they also showed other characters, so I wasn't positive if they were just part of the story, or perhaps main characters. I think it would be amazing if you had multiple stories in this version, but I feel that's too much to expect, especially on a scale as grand as GTA.

It would be nice if you could play as other characters, but they'd probably put it on separate discs like with GTA IV. Multiple endings with the main character would be nice, too. I think they did that in GTA IV a few times, where you could choose what to do at certain parts and it would change how the story ended.
IGN reported this is their MOST ambitious game yet, their trying to put a LOT of things this time
Hopefully one of those things is offline multiplayer. I've been waiting for that in a GTA game since San Andreas.
Well, I can only say that GTA vice city and GTA san andreas was the best from the series. I would really like to see skills to improve in GTA V but in conclusion, Im tired of all this GTA games.
It would be preety cool if it was a city with all the players runnin around, but that would destrpy GTA´s eriginal elements tho,id like some sort of reake of SA, it was really fun to play.
GTA Vice City is definitely my favorite so far, but GTA 5 might change that.
I remember getting frustrated over playing that game, probably because I was younger and didn't know how to play it well. But I did dislike that when you went in the water you would instantly die.

I don't think it would if they included them as multiplayer characters. Like how in San Andreas they had a few characters from in game you could choose, but instead of that have the previous main characters from GTA games. Only problem I see from it is making them with these graphics. In the previous games the characters were sort of cartoonish.
