I would definitely get myself a PS3. And build my own pool, and, if I'm kind enough, donate some of them to those poor, poor, countries...

Hate to disappoint, but a billion doesn't cut it for healthcare.

I would never want to be a billionaire. I would be spoiled and I wouldn't like that. I would never have to work for anything, which would make me lazy and demanding. It would be too much pressure for me.

I think I would use the money to create my own country, and then go on a rampage of GLOBAL DOMINATION!!!!!

*sigh*

excetera

It's et cetera, don't like being a grammar nazi, but just so you know.

...get a nuke...

Nuclear warheads cost a lot of money, a billion dollars isn't enough to buy half of it

go to mars.

You'd go berserk being stuck in a aluminium can for half a decade

I wouldn't do anything

Lazy ***

I agree, it would take a extremely large amount of money to get the US free healthcare

Correction: Nuke Statistics

Estimated construction costs for more than 1,000 ICBM launch pads and silos, and support facilities, from 1957-1964: nearly $14,000,000,000

Getting one nuclear warhead isn't that expensive that a billion won't cover it.

In 1957, a dollar was worth 8.21. Source

Because of that 14,000,000,000 in 1957 is worth $114,925,318,352 in 2011

$114,925,318,352

Read my source more carefully.
- Except where noted all figures are in constant 1996 dollars -

Which figures to 1.43 2011 dollars per 1996 dollar.

I would put it in the bank, and live off of the interest.

If I had a billion dollars I would just buy a good house and a good car and just not work for the rest of my life. I would have enough money so that I wouldn't need a salary.

What the?
What should I do with a billion of dollars?
Oh right, don't spend it like there's no tomorrow and grow investments.
