Post your thoughts of Homosexuality. And I can foresee this becoming a thread full of hate and such, just please, don't insult anyone, just list your thoughts of the manner.

I honestly don't have anything against homosexuals, they are human as well, they just like men slightly more than women and vice versa. I only disapprove of them showing signs of affection in public, because I find it rather disturbing, to say the least, when 2 men hug in a sensual way on public transport or the streets

I think homosexual is perfectly natural and that homosexual couples should have all the same rights as heterosexual ones (up to and including marriage and all the legal benefits that marriage brings).

agreed, but the problem is that there is still a huge chunk of people across the world who disagree with that view, and actually have enough influence in the goverments of the world to try and stop legalization.

Well, to be fair I'm sure rabbit didn't have those fetishes in mind when he posted.

Yes I know, but some people (like me) have twisted minds, just so they don't get to wide of an idea.

first, eww. second, we are talking about homosexuals, not pedophiles, or necrophiles. there is no need at all for you to have said that. also, I don't think those people will ever dare to show that affection unless they want an angry mob on their doorstep.

I apologize, it was rather twisted to post on this kind of thread.

I'm starting to think that heterosexuals should have lesser rights than Homosexuals, or omnisexuals, for they overuse that privilege
Or atleast some kind of punishment for very stupid marriages (Kim Kardashian duh), gay people actually love each other

Give them civil unions and it would end all this silly bickering. Its basically a marriage in all but name so religions have no more reason to bother about it.

Some people are just stupid. Punishing them wont do anything.

once again, we go back to the fact that some people have more money and influence, and won't even let such opinion bear fruit. the only way to get somewhere is to gain influence, or conform. knowing you though, you will fight to stay a non-conformist.

maybe, except for the fact that it says homosexuality, not "really disturbing sexual preferences"

I find homosexuality to be a , "really disturbing sexual preference".

Even though it's perfectly natural? I don't see why you find it to be disturbing.

You are born Gay. Being Homosexual has to do with your genes.

Just pointing that out there!

Homosexuality in animals - is that natural enough for you? I know Wikipedia isn't entirely reliable but it has sources too and they're worth checking out.

I don't except that. Is there any evidence that proves that?

1. Considering how quickly you replied - you couldn't have read that article or checked out any of the sources
2. Do you really want me to go on YouTube and type in 'gay animal sex'? Because you could do that yourself and you'd probably get the same results.

I'm tempted to point out, before people latch onto using Kim Kardashian's brief marriage to defend gay marriage, that Kim Kardashian herself is a huge proponent of gay marriage.

I'm assuming you were responding to Aeridani's post, and yes, there's significant, though not definitive, proof that one is born gay. One such implication is that it is due to a difference in the brain. There are also studies that have shown that a certain genetic make-up may predispose one to homosexuality just as certain genes increase the risk of heart disease. I've yet to see a study that supports homosexuality being a choice, as I'm sure there would be if that really was the case.
Really though, I think all the proof you need comes from the mouths of homosexuals. I have never heard anyone say that they explicitly chose to be gay. Many of them have said they suspected that they were different at even a young age, before the concept of sexuality is understood. And honestly, why would people choose to be gay given all the hate directed toward homosexuals. One might as well be choosing to be discriminated against or harassed if being gay was truly a choice.

I have nothing against gays. I pretty much don't care how you get off, so long as both people (or all the people) in the act consent, then go ahead. I see no reason not to. Of course this should be done within decency. But I have nothing against them.
