Nothing to do with ArmorGames, but I though it would be nice to warn you guys about a dangerous computer virus that is roaming on the internet and may harm the computers of MSN messenger users.
1.What is it?
Its a Trojan that does more then steal your personal info.It cuts off your connection to the internet from a browser,doesn`t allow you to write in MSN and causes your computer to randomly shut down.
2.How is it spread?
It`s a chain virus.Once activated it will send itself to all of your MSN contacts which will then also be in danger.The only relief from this virus is that you have to manualy activate it or it won`t do any harm.
3.How will I spot it?
It contains a message of the sort:
"Is this you? <link>" "Is this really you? :S <link>" "This is you <link>"
if you see such a message DO NOT click the link.One of it`s strenghts is that it contains your e-mail address in the link`s end which will make you more interested in what it contains.
4.Too late..what do I do now?
If you already are infected with this you will have to run a System restore and set it to a day before you got infected.Attempting to use an anti-virus and anti-spyware against it has proven unsuccesful.
there is also another type, where it does not send links but it does send compresed files, usually named Kodak (a photo company thing). the virus spreads the same way, and it says practically the same things, and its pretty obvious that the compressed file is a virus, 2 of my friends have gotten infected, luckily i just closed the window when ever the virus sent me a message. also the virus seems to respon the most when you talk to your infected friend.
No the anti-virus doesn`t prevent it and I have a couple of anti-virus systems that are fully up-to-date it finds it, but can`t delete it.And iFish what would you like..me to love you?
