I know its about what the person likes but I wanna know from somebody who has played at least one of the either games and tell me what you think of them.I have played Battlefield 3 and I like it alot. But Call of duty has been getting alot of hype and I wanna know if its THAT good. I dont anyone saying there are both great games because I have heard that a million times.I want someone to tell me there honest review of the games and tell me their perspective on both.

I played battlefield 3 and modern warfare 3 and what I've found is that battlefield 3 is better[i]. Battlefield 3 has superior graphics, destruction, maps that are 5 times bigger than modern warfare 3's. yet, there are some maps and game modes that allow you to play a game just as fast paced as call of duty.

On to call of duty, they haven't changed anything, oh wait 60 frames per second. NOBODY cares. COD was a dissapointment this year

I think you should refer to the stickied threads since the last thread like this was locked because it was a duplicate.

But anyway, both. They each have things I like in modern war games.

A conundrum. There's a Call of Duty sticky, but Battlefield3 is included. There's also that best/favorite game/series sticky which has the elusive [vs] tag on it, but how in the world can a universal sticky be capable of a versus without other discussion butting in? Ehh, I'll leave this open.

I'm voting for Battlefield3 for its combat, tactics, and winning conditions being more in-tune to how real war scenarios plays out. Yes, I know you win by taking over flags, but that's beside the point xD
Call of Duty is an "individual's" multiplayer game. You play against other opponents according to your own skill, while including highly-limited tactics that, when pulled off and the average skill level of the group is good, drastically pulls the game in your favor. Battlefield3 is a class-based system (not just different weapon sets), where everyone, including the newbies, is important. You may not have to actually shoot people to help; you can heal people, give them ammo, landmine the hell out of enemy vehicles, claymore the hell out of enemy people, damage the enemy's intelligence. Real tactics come from people with different talents, abilities, and differences.

... How? Saying BF3 is better than MW3 but worse than MW2 doesn't make sense.

Anyway, BF3 looks good to me because it's like a real battle scenario and more realistic; you can interact with many things around you and destroy buildings/walls. I also like most of the weapons I've seen on that game and how you can set them up, but it lacks perks and kill streaks. I guess it doesn't need those since there are tanks, jets, helicopters, and stuff like that, but I do like being able to have perks so all the players are differently set up. A downside to this game for me is that I can't play with friends when they're over here since it's one player. Also, they don't show the kill cam when you get killed. Yes, that's a minor thing and not that important for many, but I'd like to know where the enemy shot me, what type of gun he was using, and how many times he shot me.

I like MW3 because the new weapons they introduced, exp for your weapon, a new thing I forgot the name of but you can add it to your weapon to personalize it even more, you don't have to die to continue your kill streak rewards, prestige points where you can unlock some things to give you an advantage (dunno if that was in MW2 or not), and I think some of the perks are new. Not sure, I didn't really play MW2 that much.

Haven't played either game yet, but from what I've seen and read I know I'll enjoy them both.
