Depends on what kind of games you're into. If you like FPS games, then get MW3. It also has a few more things not in the other CoD games, so that'll offer more enjoyment. If you like open world RPG games (whatever Skyrim is, I don't pay much attention to those kind of games) then get Skyrim. From what I've seen they're both good, but it depends on what you like and what you think will give you the most enjoyment.

I would say Skyrim , MW3 is just a patched copy of MW2.

If you like the other CoD games, than get MW3 for sure. If you like RPG's get skyrim. It just depends on what you are looking for.

MW3 is just a patched copy of MW2.

Honest to god, it really isn't so can people stop using that as a reason not to get MW3?

The higher quality game, overall, is Skyrim. If you've played Modern Warfare 2, you've played Modern Warfare 3. Skyrim blows everything else this year, Saint's, Assassin's, Crysis, Battlefield, Modern Warfare, Portal, Mortal Kombat, MvC3, Deus Ex, Dead Island, Gears, out of the water, beyond orbit, to the farthest reaches of space, save Skyward Sword.

A deep RPG experience, the only reason you wouldn't buy Skyrim was if you wanted Skyward Sword instead.

Well I myself am a CoD player, so of course I would say MW3.

MW3 is just a patched copy of MW2.

And that, my dear friends, is the most common sentence used to describe MW3. It's nothing like MW2, only the multiplayer resembles MW2.

You can't compare RPG's to FPS's or any other game genre. RPG's will be RPG's and FPS's will be FPS's. It's like comparing school to a carnival, it can't compare

Yeah, you'll always get people like that because 1) They probably didn't care to play it and are just jumping on the bandwagon. 2) Expect something super awesome, but they get some new features and such and still aren't satisfied. 3) Are fanboys of other games and will hate on it just because they feel like it.

I mean, MW3 isn't the game of the year to me, and no CoD game probably will never be, but that doesn't mean I hate it. Just because they include a few new things into the games every year doesn't mean I'll hate them either. I like them because I enjoy FPS games and the new things they usually add.

You can if you're talking about quality of the game/personal opinions of which is better. I don't care what anyone says, certains games are just plain better than others even if they aren't in the same genre.

My personal feeling would be Skyrim. I've never played it or any other of those games, but I've played Cod and the multiplayer is always full of 11-12 year old boys who think they're the most beastly thing to ever grace the planet, 14-15 year old girls who think beating boys in a shooter makes them awesome, and 40 year olds with no lives who play nonstop and use all the game glitches and OP/Cheap ways to play that they can.

'In my opinion you should get skyrim, It you with swords, magic, and "ADVENTURE!" . But in all seriousness, the storyline is suppose to be way better than oblivion, the bugs and other things in oblivion have been updated to skyrim; for example, the voice actors amount is at least 27, oblivion only had 12. Anyways I really have seen a flaw in this game (have not played this

Modern Warfare 3 does also have a good sight upon itself with more game options, A story line that is suppose to be epic (didn't play this either ). The only flaw i see that the graphics are about the same as mw2, but hey.. Graphics are not what the game is about, its the gameplay and community as well.

Hopefully this will help you in anyway.

"Epic" is a term used to describe something long. The MW3 singlplayer is FIVE HOURS LONG. That is shorter than mother-f*cking HALO 3: ODST.

the voice actors amount is at least 27

In the "Making of" disc that came w/ my copy of Skyrim, Todd Howard stated that there were around 70 voice actors in Skyrim, as opposed to the *chuckle* six *chuckle* in Oblivion.

How often do you think it's actually used like that anymore?

I don't know anyone who is satisfied with only singleplayer these days. That's why it has Survival, mission and multiplayer. Play those 3 modes, and you'll never get bored of it. Especially survival

It's called the 3.5 million people who bought Skyrim in the first handful of days.

Meh. Multiplayer is the same as MW2 so bored with that. Survival and Spec Ops? Yes, those are good little tidbits, but not enough for a 60 dollar investment.

Sorry for double post, forgot to say this:

"Epic" is a term used to describe something long.

If my knowledge of the English language is any good, I'm pretty sure you're wrong. Epic is used to describe something that is more than excellent. You can call a play that was an hour long epic.

Of course I would get Skyrim but im just a small TES fan. But if u want to run mindless trough a map chasing 7-9 other players with a gun, choose mw3. But if u want to have a more then 100 hour long epic adventure, choose Skyrim.
