So I was surfing the net and one of my searches was ''Cenere'' (No questions), and it happened to be the name of a silent film, which got me reading up on them. Seems like they were pretty big and artsy in the 1920s. My question is, has anyone here seen a silent film? Are they any good? Any modern adaptations?

I keep reacting to this thread... Might have to watch that movie one day too.

Either way, DK tv has found out it can be fun to air silent movies every so often for an hour or two. Usually the short ones with Chaplin and well as some Danish ones, I think?

I like provocative titles :3 Especially when it piques a mod's interest, but is perfectly innocent and harmless.

I must confess I haven't watched any Chaplin films the whole way, just snippets. The horror! Apropos, I tend to find that silent films are deeper and more artsy since they don't need to focus on lines or sound.
