Alrighty well i'm here, should lj join up, Gm, what?
Both actually.
Sorry, I've been a bit busy to read the 26 pages, can you just give me a quick summary of what everyone has done and it doing.
Oh, understood. Well...
Loco is trying to join the Profaci gang, they sent him off to beat the **** out of some guy who has been causing trouble for them to prove his worth.
My character, DiCapitano, is trying to join the Genovese family. He's at their hideout now, having cracked their "
assword" moments ago(doorman says a number, guy trying to get in replies with how many letters are in the number i.e. doorman says "six" guy trying to get in says "three"
. He just walked up to the door and knocked.
Your character is just leaving a Catholic church after confession, I believe.
Name: Joseph L. S. DiCapitano.
Age: 24.
Gender: Male.
Condition: Healthy.
Physical Description: Tall, muscular, gaunt, olive skin, short black hair, grey eyes, small scar on the temple.
Personality: Quiet, serious, resourceful, tough, hard-working.
Trait: Better at hand to hand fighting and taking the pain - Worse at bartering(has to pay higher prices for buying things, and gets lower prices for selling).
Bio: He was born in Palermo, Italy to an Italian soldier and an Italian nurse(Florence Nightingale effect, anyone?). Shortly after his birth, DiCapitano's father was killed in World War I by Austrian soldiers, and shortly afterward he and his mother immigrated to the United States hoping to escape the war in Europe. They came to Newark through Ellis Island when DiCapitano was 3 years old, and the war ended shortly afterward. Being Italian immigrants, DiCapitano and his mother had a very difficult time in the United States, and his mother-who had turned to slightly less legal employment for the money to live-was killed when DiCapitano was 14, and DiCapitano lived on the streets afterward. He stole what he needed, and nothing more; he fought off his enemies, but never started a fight; and although he grew accustomed to living in destitution and poverty, he began to want wealth. So, he went from Newark to Manhattan, hoping to join one of the gangs and make a name for himself.
Perk: I know the way!: you know the streets of teh poor areas

And here's a summary of the Five Families, courtesy of me.
The "specializations" of each mafia aren't exactly accurate, so be forewarned, I'm pretty much just making them up.
Colombo/Profaci Family: Smallest and youngest family. Specializes in jobs having to do with cash: fraud, money laundering, counterfeiting, loan sharking, etc.
Gambino Family: One of the largest and oldest families. Specializes in the violent stuff: arson, assassination, "
rotection money", beating people up, etc.
Lucchese Family: Average in size, originated right around the middle. Specializes in the "sneaky stuff": bootlegging, robbery(armed and otherwise), smuggling, hijacking, human trafficking, etc.
Bonnano Family: Average in size and age. Specializes in vice and trade: drug dealing, prostitution, booking, arms dealing, fencing, etc.
Genovese Family: One of the largest and oldest families. They have no specialty, sort of like a jack-of-all-trades mafia, but they do have a lot of influence and moles in the government.
N I fully understand Hyper, that affair was starting to agitate me.
Like I said, I'm not mad at all. I just don't want to sit around and call a playground brawl.
Don't be surprised if there are gaps between my posts, I'm trying to catch myself up on math because my math teacher is from Palestine and English isn't exactly her thing. xP
