I personally think star wars is better because of the story line and characters, like vader and chewbacca, they have storys behind them.In star trek its just a bunch of humans fighting aliens, there isn't any thing behind it.Well, that's enough of what i think, what's your opinion?
They are both good for different reasons. I like the concept of ST more than SW focusing more on exploring space and the troubles we run into along the way. SW is just a classic formula retold in a space setting.
The aliens in SW are more logical but the tech in ST is more logical, for the most part on each.
Personally, I think that Star Wars is much better than Star Trek. I think that for many reasons. First, the plot in Star Wars follows something, from before war to war to after war. Star Trek just goes around in a ship exploring planets. Don't get me wrong, I like Star Trek, but the plot is not as good as Star Wars. The characters in Star Wars are also developed much better than those in Star Trek. In Star Trek, the characters just are there and aren't developed that much.
Star Trek. Don't get me wrong, I love Star Wars, but they've sucked it dry with toys and crap, and they just decided to just have lightsaber fights every time they run out of ideas. The Original Trilogy was amazing, but Star Trek I will always love.
(I'd put some Klingon here, but there isn't a translator for you non-Klingon knowing people.)
The only part I liked about Star Trek was their uniforms and Spok's "Live Long And Prosper" thing. George Lucas probably spent hours writing in a little notebook saying, "Not only am I doing this for millions of dollars, but also so that peoplecan judge it on game websites!" :P So Star Wars is better... I like it more than any Sci Fi.
I really don't think you can compare these two completely different Sci-Fi series!
Each has its own galaxy, storyline and way of interpreting how the galaxy works. Star Trek is great because it's based on how human kind will try to conquer the galaxy in the future... and Star Wars makes a storyline about a galaxy out of our grasp (for now at least...) with a complete different angle and alien communities.
