I've seen it frequently enough now that I'm wondering why so many games on AG do not have sliders for volume. It seems like that would be very easy to add to any game.

Is there some way staff here could suggest that to developers? Perhaps there are rules they must follow to post a game, and it could be added there?

It's disappointing to have to turn off music entirely because that's the only option when it's too loud in comparison to the game effects.

Aren't there sliders for volume on every computer? Why not just turn it down there?

Not only are there sliders for the computer, there are also sliders for your internet browser. And beyond that, there is a little knob that controls the volume of the speaker.

You guys just missed the point. The sliders for anything not in the game does not change the relative difference in volume between the sound effects and music of the game.

O. Well I have seen a few games that have sliders. I would contact the developer via their website or maybe their account on AG(if they use it or have one).

I think there are rules for posting a game but I don't think it should be added there. Not enough people would find this feature important and most games don't have sliders for sound and music so AG would be missing lots of great games.

they should make them ad that and I think that they should make it so that games should have to come with something so you can mute the game and only the game so you can watch a video or something without having to close the window

I know there are in fact games that have this feature implemented and working properly. It's probably the decision of the game's developer whether to use something like this or not. It could pose for some problems with the smaller games and less powerful engines I believe, so adding such a feature is not a smart thing to do for every flash game.
