I think that armor games doesn't let advertisements pop up and start playing a video when you hover over them for three seconds and once ,it may not have been on this website but i think it was, the add made everything else go gray and open up a video or something like the others that i mention before but this one if i just slid my mouse over it, it would do that so if you agree that they should put restrictions on that then i think we should bombard them with complaints about this
Well, advertisements are needed to keep websites like these floating you know... nothing's for free in our little capitalistic world, so there's a need for money coming in from somewhere. Hence the advertisements!
There was a sticky about this topic, putting every question ever made about why advertisements are present on AG under one big umbrella, but they un-stickied it to my surprise. So I tracked it down for you :
As for the type of advertisements used... it's a mere decision they made on what type of add is the most effective (for them) and will get the most views and (most important) 'clicks' on them!
So, instead of being angry about advertisements... help support Daniel McNeely and the rest of the ArmorGames staff and click an add every once in a while! It keeps this website and the mood of it's users up!! =)
