I am doing this experiment to see if books (for teens and kids) make me cry. Many people say that I am cold hearted, so I am going to prove to myself that I am not. If you know any really sad books that make you cry, please post! And NO Harry Potter and Twilight!

Th Giver wasn't a book that would make you cry, really it was just super depressing.

The saddest book ive ever read is "Secret sacrament" by Sherryl Jordan. The ending is soooo sad!! but at least the next book "Time of the eagle" has a happy ending.
if you dont cry in secret sacrament then there is something seriously wrong with you

The Boy Who Dared. It's sad because on the end a kid gets killed for going against Hitler's rules. But the story itself is awesome I recommend it.

Wow, thanks for ruining the whole book. Idiots; we should lock them up.

The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak

You know, I didn't think it was that sad. Death seemed to be showing how a girl dealth with death and pain with books. The Jewish Fist Fighter part was only sad after he gave Liza(?) his book. Than the previous parts were a little sad.
