I don't want to lose armor points, but I'm a bit confused on what would be considered spamming. I know responses with less than 7 words and nonhelpful to the topic comments are considered spam, but are there any more examples so I can try to not spam unintenionally on forums?
yeah, as all of the above have already said, anything that is basically not a direct comment or feedback of the game, can be considered (not always spam) but unhelpful,m and therefore removable.
this does not mean that you cannot make short and brief feedback comments just try to keep them as helpful to the GameDev as you can.

Now for some additions to this list:
Posting in a foreign language isn't technically spam, but it's not allowed. Flaming is also not allowed, and neither is posting just an image, as that is image spam. Posting all link can be categorized as Excessive BB Code, but it is also bad because that would be impersonating a moderator. Posting images of typed text is also bad, and I quote from the forum rules:
Do not post messages containing images of typed text, especially in an alternate color. This confuses other members who may think you have some special authority, which is against our Terms and Conditions. It also defeats our search engine, which cannot read your message text.
Excessive swearing is also bad, and it's even worse if you bypass the profanity filter in one of the following ways:
-Misspell a swear word -Use custom censors -Type asterisks as if the swear word were censored properly -Place punctuation within a swear word
The third one cannot be detected by normal users, but admins can detect them by checking the database. Finally, necro'ing threads is not allowed. Necro'ing is when you make a bad post in an old thread. Good posts in old threads will cause either a revive or a thread lock using [old]. For other things not allowed, LucasDaLegend provided a link to the forum rules.
