I wonder if Arizona's legislative body are nothing more than a bunch of backwards rednecks who belong to the good ol' boy network and their real initiative is to break the citizens of Arizona down until there is nothing left but Meth dealers and Sheriffs deputies. http://shangilbreath.wordpress.com/2012/01/30/is-arizona-creating-more-crazy-legislation/

my career choices are getting bleak. My wife is working on her masters degree if this bill passes it will force us to sell a car or something. Even though she already qualifies for student loans. Why would they stop people from using the student loans to pay for classes and books?

This is the first that might be considered crazy.

Yes, I agree it's stupid. It probably won't pass, and even if it does, so what? There are plenty of other universities you can attend. Unless you plan on becoming an astrophysicist, ASU or U of A isn't great anyways.

I've never even had $2000 in my bank account before. I could maybe understand a couple hundred if the state had a good reason but definitely not 2k.

Presumably student aid programmes wouldn't exist in the first place if students had that kind of cash. Idiots.

Yet another example of ill thought out neo con policy proposed under the guise of 'fiscal responsibility'. When will they learn?

@MacFan1: Illegal Immigration is not included in the topic of this legislation.

There are plenty of other universities you can attend.

This bill would apply to all schools in Arizona Community, University, private, and technical schools.
