### Sister thread to "First CD you ever purchased?" ###

I recently made the thread with the topic of "what was the first CD you puchased" and asked to share your memories on that, but as I was buying some CD's today, I realised that there's of course the sister thread to this topic! So...

"What was the last CD you purchased lately?"

This topic will probably only appeal to the people who still buy those Compact Discs instead of downloading songs and albums, so...

...let us know what CD you bought and why, maybe tell a little about the band / artist and share your feelings about your latest addition to your CD collection! =D

Just like the OP of the sister thread, I'll start off with throwing in my latest additions!
So, today I bought a total of 5 CD's. Here they are in random order:

# Big Country - Best of...
__A band I got to know from their only hit single here in the Netherlands "Look Away". Great album!

# Megadeth - Rust In Peace - LIVE (incl. DVD)
__I got lucky and found this CD+DVD in the sales department! It's the live tour I attended to in Eindhoven! And Hangar 18 was one of the highlights!!

# Jackson Browne - Very Best...
__An artist I forgot about, but ilberic was so kind to remind me of this great singer/songwriter! For example: a huge hit he wrote is "Take It Easy", one you might know from the Eagles!

# Blink 182 - Greatest Hits
__I realised that I didn't have any other CD but 'Enema Of The State' by this band and decided that a Greatest Hits album is never a waste! Can't handle my money I guess... so "What's my age again?!" LOL

# Savatage - "Still the orchestra plays" Greatest Hits vol. 1 + 2
__A band from which a greatest hits album I've been looking for a long time already and today... JACKPOT!!!
Wanna get familiar with some great Rock/Metal from the 80's? Then try this: Power Of The Night!!!

The last CD I ever perchased was so long ago I just use Itunes. Can't even think of one sorry.

@ 44Flames : No problem... that's the current technology overtaking the CD purchasing there.

@ MrDayCee seeing that album cover one word pops into my mind: Kitsch! Actually, I'm screaming at the top of my lungs "Eighties kitsch!".

I know, I shouldn't be judging an album by its cover ...

At least tell me you were fair enough to listen/watch the video link attached to that particular post and THEN judge the album's cover?! And so I ask again... what's it going to be after that? Huh?! =P

i bought yesterday a dvd: jonah hex. its a movie about the dc-comic series jonah hex.

I heard the song, it wasn't really bad. Classic eighties pop rock. It was pretty OK, if you like that stuff.
I also watched the video, I think you know what I am going to say next ... It was kitsch! I felt like I was watching Miami Vice. You know the video had that eighties glittery kitsch.
