Well, you get maps and you can level up your clan to get more titles and emblems, that's about it. Personally I wouldn't waste $50 for two maps, but if you have extra money laying around go ahead.
i say if you can, yes. you get cool emblems, get to make clans, and get 2 of the 5 or so maps before everyone else. granted i think 50 bucks is a little much. make an account for free and then if you like it, buy one year.
No its stupid and your encouraging IW to make stuff have to be paid for on top of the game.
And for one the DLC is overpriced anyway and I doubt you will even same money on it because they probably wont bring much out even though they claim they will.
They purposely made stuff like combat record and stuff not free to try to make people pay for it and people are actually stupid enough. Also the online stuff for elite was actually free before when cod5 was new but not many people noticed and the idea was forgot until now and they make it paid for.
They will actually make the online basically p2p because people are eating up elite like idiots and they will think people will actually pay2play and I guarantee alot of people actually would because they are so addicted and too fan-boyish to go elsewhere.
I think IW is pathetic. I hope Treyarch don't do elite and literally take a s**t on IW for doing it.
ok i didn't realize that you just got the DLC maps earlier so yes i agree that it isn't worth it and you also get new game modes BTW. and i already have battlefield and it isn't that much like MW3 at all they are quit opposite
Think of it this way: You're paying $50 for what's probably going to be around $15 worth of maps, emblems that say "Hey look at me I like spending money on stupid crap," and features that came free with Black Ops (Combat Record, etc.).
If I had the option, I wouldn't buy it. (I don't have the option because I'm a Wii owner >_>
