Just watched the trailer you linked to your OP and I have to say that the story is somewhat intriguing and original, but the fact that Radcliff is starring in the lead role and it's released so soon after Potter has ended, makes for a mixed feeling about this movie... I haven't decided on what to do with it yet, but I might watch it.

I haven't watched the movie yet, but the trailer looks good. I think it has some overused horror concepts like the face in the window or the old house. Maybe I'll watch it... if I find someone who wants to come with me

Looks promising, but what creeped me out was the grave encounters poster frame.

You can put those mixed feelings away, because he performs the lead very well! The majority of the horror scenes are things you wouldn't think of happening, which is the definition of horror--something that is there but you don't expect or sense until it's there.

I understand what you mean there Freakenstein, but the part where he stands in front of a window looking out and the ghost figure appearing behind him is a bit overused if you ask me... I saw that one coming from a mile away! So it's not all unexpected here...

Hmm, I remember during a preview for Sherlock Holmes 2, (Awesome movie, by the way) there was this little trailer where it showed a normal movie theater with people talking and crap like that, and it zoomed in on a mysterious black mist. It formed into a lady, and she screamed like hell. I didn't sleep for three nights afterwards.

The best thing about the film is that almost all of the scary parts were obvious and expected but they still scared the hell out of the audience! I swear it looked like I had half a dozen seizures from all the tensing up and flinching I did during the screening. And there was this one group of women behind me who couldn't stop screaming, even at the silent parts.

Well, towards the end she screamed like crazy.

There was that one scream towards the end that haunted me for hours afterwards.. It was so **** loud :/

*SPOILER ALERT*
The movie is about this women, who died in black and her son (Nathaniel) got adopted by her sister, one day they were driving there car and it got stuck and Nathaniel drowned, now the women in black hung her, now every time that you see her someone dies, she couldn't find Nathaniel and she is not allowed to go see him.She says in a letter if you will not let me see him I will find my way and in one of the family pictures she is standing behind in the same place Daniel Radcliffe made eye contact with her. Also on that family picture (it has Nathaniel and his adopted parents) the women in black comes and scratches the eyes and leaves Nathaniels. This movie is scary.

Why post a spoiler without contributing something meaningful to the thread?

In fact, why post a spoiler that doesn't even summarise the film correctly?

I thought this movie was really good and it was a perfect amount of scare in the movie and no blood and gore.

I loved the ending,I dont know if other people see it the way I do but here's my thought on what happened at the end.......*ahem*so since Mr.Kipps reunited the woman in black's son with her,the woman in black decided that she should reunite Mr.Kipps with his wife, while also reuniting Mr.Kipp's son with his mother.Everybody was mad when they died(including my family) and i think i was the only one who was happy for that ending.I mean,Mr.Kipps would've still lived in misery if he and the son lived,so yeah,he's with his wife now with his son.
