Since Christianity FTW is a debate between christians and atheists I decided to make a new thread for a debate between christians and christians alone.
This is a debate between christian who have a different veiw of the bible, how to get to heaven, etc. It's about the types of christians and which ones are right and which ones are wrong. There are Roman Catholics, methodists, baptists, etc each with a different veiw of the bible. This is a debate between the christians. State what type of christian you are and explain why you think being this type of christian is the right path.
you just hit the point. no religion can proove itself as the true religioun. what each religion believes in is simply what it believes him and christianity just happens to believe that non-believers go to hell. some other religions say the same, some dont.

did i ever say im christian? im jewish and our belief is very blurry. most of us believe in different things and most of us can say that neither has enough proof. i personally dont believe in a god that sends people to hell for reasons i disagree with. since my own personal belief has the same morals and values i myself have and i doubt anyone will get hurt by it does it matter if i believe in it?
No I do not agree with this at all. I think that Jewish people should go to the Heaven. They deserve to. However, if you go back a while, I know why Christians believe they don't. You see, many people believe that Jesus was the leader of the Jewish people/Messiah and the Son of God. However, the people who did not believe that are the people who were still Jewish. However, I can understand why it is difficult to accept change. I'm your friend here.
I believe that there isn't a correct Christian, and to think there is only one right answer is wrong.
That said I think Christians should take the Bible more liberally, to be like Christ, the World's most loving man, rather than read everything in the Bible and only take the parts that go against Jesus' teachings such as 'Women are to learn in silence' amongst other things and just to think of the old phrase 'What would Jesus do?'.
I am an atheist but I think if everyone was just like Jesus, and God knows I'm not (I need to work on that), the World would be such as better place. That is why I have a wicker cross in my bed room, to symbolise what Jesus did, not that he resurrected or was the son of God but in a way he did die for our sins. He died trying to make everyone just a bit kinder and less violent.
In response to the argument questioning if Jews should go to Heaven or not: 1. Jesus was Jewish and went to Heaven. 2. God is meant to be all forgiving and all loving so I doubt that he will condemn those who have the same faith as the Jewish priests who supposedly killed Jesus. 3. The Romans had more input into killing Jesus than the Jews 4. The Jews, Judas and The Romans are not evil as Jesus was meant to die, in fact the Devil tried to make him run away so he wouldn't be crucified.

all of this doesnt matter. why do you believe jews deserve to go to heaven? is it just because they are jewish? is it because they are religious? (not all jews are actually religious.). is it just because they were lucky enough to be born to that race? if you believe they deserve to go to heaven as people then you should also believe the same for every ateist, muslim and any other non-christian which isnt what christianity christianity believes in.
as said before: its not about being good or bad in christianity. its all about weather you believe in jesus or not. you believe, you go to heaven. you dont believe you go to hell.
on a side note. some people can take the bible in their own way, research the original language it was written in and say how christianity is SUPPOSED to be followed (which is really different from the norm today).

the faith changed. christianity claims that only christians go to heaven and thats just it... no exceptions. and you are using logic while talking about the bible... beware.

again, thats not the point of this argument. jews dont go to hell because they "killed" jesus. they go to hell because they arent christians just like any other atheist, muslim, budhist and any other person who isnt christian.
again, do notice that i am talking about what MOST christians believe in. there are christians who believe homosexuality is not a sin and that you dont have to be christian to go to heaven. but you truly have to do research and understand the way they interpent (first time using this word... spelled wrong?) the bible
