I've had an AG account for a while now and i am around 600 or so, but I wouldn't say I'm very recognizable. What I mean is, people don't go "hey I know him" if I post on their profile or comment on a game or in one of the forums. There are people, however, who are known throughout AG. People like Firetail_madness, Knight_34, the mods and admins, etc. Who are some well known Armor Gamers?
People who have a lot of posts and who have been consistently active for a substantial period of time.
Also, well known to who? People could be well known in Colony, or other online games, but not known at all to forum-ites. People who only post in say, the forum games section, may not know a prominent poster in the Tavern. I personally wouldn't recognize any prominent people in the AMW section unless they post in either the Tavern, WEPR, or Video Games section because I don't often view the others.
In general though, the top 10 because they are on the front page and the admins/moderators.
For me it would be magegraywolf(mainly cause we are allways arguing) kasic, skater kid who pawns, admins, mods, emperor plapateen, and jeffery insperation.
hahahahaha. that's the funniest made-up word i've ever heard. it's so fun to say...
but yeah the most recognized users on AG are the ones who post everywhere and consistently. And having a high rank also tends to contribute in making you more respected and recognized.

Mmm..not really. It's more of a side effect. You post a lot, which gets you recognized. However each post is also worth 1 point. So after a lot of posts, you accumulate a lot of points, and a lot of points are a high rank. You don't get a high rank from being recogized, you get a high rank for how much you've posted/how long you've been around. (Unless you're one of those people who just spam rate games.)

Yup. I know how the system works too.

I agree.

FYI, I believe the official term for that is "AP farming."
I haven't been active lately but back in the day (2009) I hung around the tavern and flash games forum so the famous people where Firetail, Knight, Moat, Alt, and so on.

[quote] Not really, I don't think a king with 3 posts would be famous.
I have no idea who your all talking about besides Frankenstein, (mod) because he yelled at me, and i always see him around . People get famous in only certain places, i am a tavern guy, i stay around here and sometimes venture out to the tech stuff (i work at a tv studio, so i am good w/ most [some] tech), so i am sorta well known in those places sorta
WaKySwAg P.S. signing your posts like that ^might help make you famous
I wouldn't say I am well recognized, but I amone of the few christians having debates on religion. Wish there were more well recognized christians here.
Well Nichodemus is pretty recognizable, along with magegraywolf, jeffery'sinspiration, partydevil,Zakyman, and Jake( the new guy who is always talking about christianity) well I have'nt seen any other muslims on forums other than reiki000
If you have high rank and post a helpful comments then many people know you.
high rank don't really matter that much.it was cool to killersup how he is mentioned and recognizable lol.bladerunner is pretty recongizable.
it seems to killersup that if someone has a pretty different armartar than everybody else and has a easy name to remember and they are sumwhat active in the community in general then they are pretty well known.
