I've had an AG account for a while now and i am around 600 or so, but I wouldn't say I'm very recognizable. What I mean is, people don't go "hey I know him" if I post on their profile or comment on a game or in one of the forums. There are people, however, who are known throughout AG. People like Firetail_madness, Knight_34, the mods and admins, etc. Who are some well known Armor Gamers?

Hey, I didn't get directly mentioned either; we can be forever alone together if you want, but that would be contradictory

I have no idea who your all talking about besides Frankenstein, (mod) because he yelled at me, and i always see him around .
Yeah you'v been noticed and we did mention the mods being the most recognizable for their blue text-DT07

(seriously, all those O's look like oxygens and original reaction statements),

Or screaming faces if you get really bored and draw eyes for them.

I'd make a comparison to Catcher in the Rye

That book >.<

The most recognizable people on AG are those whose images remain stuck in your memory for being, well, recognizable.

Which would make who is most recognizable personal and not an across the board thing.

Aww, Moon! We have each other!

And so we shall! :'D

Moonfairy gets points for posting thoroughly in poetry; said poetry is definitive

I love you too, dear.

The last new person who has stuck in my memory is Tacky.
I feel old.

Hum now that i think of it it might be firetailmadness since he's always on the top of the leaderboards that stand out so I'm sure everyone's heard of him plus he used to be very active in the forums.

Well I should say that for me it's SSTG. xD
Because I see his name about 10 times a day in the Viking Vengeance thread. http://armorgames.com/community/thread/8613948/siege-hero-viking-vengeance-custom-levels
Seriously I would say MageGrayWolf.

I didn't elaborate on my earlier point..

Y'know, I laugh and cringe when I read some suggestions of users who are relatively knew. To everyone else who came to AG in 2008 and early 2009: you know the regulars we all used to love, who aren't here anymore. I miss them too.

There are plenty of regulars who once were very recognizable, but have either faded into relative obscurity, or met the banhammer. It's a shame they can't be mentioned here.

So yes, these kind of "recognition" threads make me feel a bit sad.

What I would like to see is someone that can beat magegraywolf at all debates. That person would really become well know.

Don't ever tell anybody anything. If you do, you start missing everybody.

Knight, we get it. You're old on here. Sorry you feel sad, but.Aren't you a part of CT that believes AG is degenerating? You aren't really doing anything to improve it.

I'm not trying to spark something, I'm just stating it gets a bit old to hear about the good old days, then get told that you couldn't know about because you weren't there.

T_T

SSTG, I have never heard of you until recently, and you're already a silver king....
How did I miss this?

T.T (PTSD flashbacks of assignments where I had to identify Calvin's? Collin's? Coulten's? [turns out I erased his name from my mind somewhat] emotional state by his hat :/)

CT

What is CT?

2008 and early 2009

I wasn't really active until mid 2010, but I signed up at the end of 2009. So I wouldn't recognize anyone you're mentioning.

most recognizable are mostly people with images(unlike me) and people who are admins/make and contribute awesome games like conartist, John, uh stickpage (to a lesser extent)...I'm a fairly recent member and I don't really participate on the forums, but I've been playing games on AG since the first Sonny, Sinjid, the original Prince of War, Dark Cut, ect all came out...I can't really tell if the whole site has deteriorated or not but a lot of the games are still pretty solid and they are the reasons I keep coming back and why I eventually got an account.

Does ANYONE know Kipdon?

Wasn't he a pokemon?

If he isn't, he should be.

I remember Kipdon. I played one of his forum game RPGs a long time ago, like 3 years ago.

And lol, it's kinda funny how only one person mentioned me. Is that a good thing? Maybe . . . .

Are you on the Tavern much? I don't remember you from anything.

Cool. Nobody likes me. Thanks guys, making me feel really special here.

I definitely remember you orion

If you've been here for three or four years, the names of the bottoms in the list don't much stick out. Chances are that you won't be remembered by the forums with less than two thousand posts, or a few hundred very well crafted posts.

And of course, memory is limited to a few days. Disappear for a while, nobody cares.

All so true..unfortunate, but true.

Y'know, I laugh and cringe when I read some suggestions of users who are relatively knew. To everyone else who came to AG in 2008 and early 2009: you know the regulars we all used to love, who aren't here anymore. I miss them too.

I feel that Knight.

They really were great though..just saying.

I can't really tell if the whole site has deteriorated or not but a lot of the games are still pretty solid and they are the reasons I keep coming back and why I eventually got an account.

I think the activity is going down, but the games are still great, if not better than ever. More and more people are making accounts just for the games, and they think that their comments and ratings that are meaningless but get them points matter.
