And I don't think anyone has posted any spoilers, it's stuff that was shown in the last episode.
Well...
She is a black lady. The zombies on her chain are her boyfriend and his best friend.
We didn't know that we couldn't tell who the person with the robes on was or who the zombies were.
The comic came out first, so it makes more sense to read them first.
Not really it ruins the show because you know whats going to happen so it's pointless in watching I prefer reading the written version of stuff after because in shows normally they leave stuff out so reading the book after means that you can't tell exactly what will happen when you read the book because the bits they leave out and it's easier to imagine whats happened because you can put the video to the text in your mind.
It's just something I believe in I can see why you would read the book first if you knew about it before the show but when you only realised when you found the show its just wrong to read ahead because shows are alot better IMO.

I'm sure most Walking Dead fans have at least skimmed through the comics, so they'd know who it was just because of their appearance. But if you just watch the show, what do you expect when clicking a thread about the show? Surely we'll be talking about the episodes and who the new character is.

The directors mentioned they're not making the show exactly like the comics, so most of the time you won't know what's going to happen next unless it's clear or hints to it. If you watched the season finale, then you saw the prison at the end of the episode. I read somewhere on the Internet that most of the characters die in the prison, so if that's true then they'd probably lose a lot of their fans. I doubt they'd do that.
I wish Andrea would die. She is corrupt and I don't like her, but they are keeping her on the show for suspense and whatnot, especially now that she has encountered Michonne...
If I'm not mistaken the season 3 premiere is October 16, if I heard correctly.

Exactly, Shane got knocked off because he is starting a different show, and Dale left because he didn't like the new director. Neither of them were supposed to be dead yet.
How? I like her more than most of the woman characters.
Neither of them were supposed to be dead yet.
I skimmed around the Internet a few days ago and I read that Shane was supposed to die pretty early on by getting shot in the neck by Carl or something and Dale was supposed to die in the prison. Not sure if that's true or not, I haven't read the comics.
