Is anyone hyped about this game? It has been under-production since 2008. I am Alive is scheduled to release on March 7. Here's the trailer. People fighting the person you'll be playing after March 7 for water, W-O-W. And if you're smart enough to think, meh, Dead Island showed a great trailer, but the game sucked. Well then, here's the gameplay! Here's the story:
I Am Alive tells the story of an everyman who has lost his wife and daughter during a mysterious but cataclysmic event. This man returns to his hometown, Haventon, a year later to find the city in ruins, with its inhabitants taking "necessary actions" to survive.
This game's climbing isn't like Uncharted, when you start climbing, you'll have a stamina bar, which depletes over time. There are many more great features of this game that i can't remember. The only downside(s) are: It is only on Xbox Arcade, so i guess i won't be playing this great game. It has not been scheduled for release on PS3 yet. Ubisoft won't be releasing it for the PC, either. The reason: The Creative Director said that all PC gamers are pirates, so it's not worth releasing it on the PC. He said in a later statement that maybe it would come to PC. The ironic part is Ubisoft became the company they are today because of PC gamers. We were the ones that have purchased their games. Early on Ubisoft rarely made console games.
So, will you guys be buying it? What're your thoughts?
One thing I have learned is don't preorder games unless it's an epic deal and you are 100% sure - Right now it looks cool but until it comes out and real gamers in the masses rate it ima just stick it into the unknown category and speculation folder. And about the Ubisoft thing and pirates I doubt ill look into this game because from that talk I expect it to be a bad port from the console which is a waste of money.
i was in 2009 when i saw the 1st looks. but now not so much realy. i like how the use light as a gun but beside that. i dunno what to expect. however i'm sure i will try to game sometime when it get's released.

if games would realease a free demo befor releasing the actual game (like they were used to about 10 year ago) then i wouldn't pirate and i guess many others neither. the only reason is to try the game so i don't spend my money on something i don't like. they kinda done it by themself.
Wow I remember seeing this game's trailer when it was shown to me by friends I no longer have and haven't been friends with for over 2 years... I remember it looked cool at first, but I completly forgot about it and now when I look at it agian it really dosen't look that good, looks like it could have slow parts.

Don't make him sound terrible, he didn't say this. He said if you do the math, the costs of production for PC, versus the amount of people who are actually going to buy this on PC, they're not going to make enough money. He also pointed out that most the people protesting the decision to not port it to PC, probably wouldn't buy it on PC if it was available, they're just *****ing because they can't pirate the game that wasn't released because they're going to pirate it.
I remember seeing this a game a few months ago and thinking it looked awesome. There is a chance I'll get this game, I need to look more into it. The only problem I have is the graphics. Everything is sooooo mono-colored and generic.
