Recently,I heard that the devs stopped working on Terraria. Many people got demolished and heartbroken about this but people still had hope and has spread rumors about a new company asking to take over Terraria or that Re-Logic was just making a secret update. I do not agree that they are working on a secret update for various reasons since they had a massive update over 3 months ago but it might be possible that some other company might offer to own Terraria, I suspect that Gaslamp games might own the game because of their Twitter but that's just me.
DEPARTURE REASON
1) Re-Logic recently had a huge update that contained 222 new items and 39 new monster (huge isn't it) and I think they deserve a rest.
2)Redigit said that he had to tend to his newly born baby (congrats) and says he need to get off coding for a while.
3)Tiy recently moved to work with a new game called "Starbound"
4)Blue quit the dev team and I think that they were really sad about Blue's Departure.
Opinion
I personally think that they should, Indeed move on and im pretty excited about "Starbound". The mod team should handle all the crazy stuff and HERO's team started working on a mod that HERO said will be more items than ever before! If we are lucky we might have Re-Logic back!
