I am trying to start a protest about the ads on Armorgames. There are a lot of inappropriate ads, and there are little kids that play on it Armorgames! Younger kids do not have a decent place now to play games without being exposed to profanity and pornography. If you feel the same, please express your thoughts here. If enough people protest, Armorgames may block offending ads, or at least let you select your level of ad exposure.

Why would anyone younger than 13 be on the interwebz? That's what I consider bad parenting, letting someone that young spend time on the internet, instead of going outside stretching their bones, collecting a lil' vitamin D.

And also, I haven't seen anything inappropriate in the last 4 years I'm on this website. Maybe that weird-*** shop thing with a anime girl with a tail sticking out of her ***, but that's really it. Kids probably don't even notice those ads.

I totally disagree with you there. 100%. There's nothing wrong with being on the internet when you're a kid. Sure, spending all day online and never going out might not be healthy at that age, but letting your kid go online for an hour or two is definitely not bad parenting, especially if it's a rainy day or something.

Yes, it will do no harm, but what's better, a 10 year old being on the internet or a 10 year old drawing/ singing/ doing whatever it is 10 year olds do? Even that 1 hour is bringing them closer to the virtual world, slowly destroying their brain with each click. And no, I'm not overdoing it.

How does that destroy your brain? What you do online is basically reading and typing, or playing games, both of which teach them to do pretty much the same thing they would learn from reading a book or being outside kicking a ball around.

I don't really have a correct answer for that, it was just figure speech. Needn't take everything seriously you know

So kids on the internet is a bad thing because it destroys their brain, but not really, and that's why they shouldn't be allowed to use it?

The reason why I took it seriously was because it was the only way that made any sense whatsoever.

Yeah, I'm sorry but the content of the ads aren't controlled by armorgames. Armor games uses an ad service to generate revenue and they are the people to talk to if you want a change.

1. this is for 13 years old + kids. no tiny people allowed.
2. the adds keep this site free, dont protest or we will all have to pay
3. ....how are the netflix adds inappropriate?
4. the companies pay AG to put upp their adds, and they will do whatever they have to to get people to come to their sites. dont blame AG for that. blame the companies making the adds.

oh and something i forgot. so i have heard that now what you search can influence what adds appear on a site. for example...
last year when black ops was coming out, it ws all i searched on google. i tried to find out as much information a possible and what happens? black ops add on AG.
another example?
when ghostrider 2 was coming out, i naturally started to look that up to see if it was any good. what happened? ghost rider 2 adds on AG
now if you guys are seeing some rather inappropriate adds, do us all a favor and CLEAR YOUR HISTORY NEXT TIME YOU LOOK THAT UP :P. no just kidding.....sort of. also, if you show any any interest in any of the adds, then you will see more of that add.
example?
went to my favorite games and a netflix adds popped up right under where my mouse was and i clicked it by mistake. now anytime i go to my favorites, i get netflix adds. but a quick history clearing and ta-da! random adds again.

ArmorGames does not dole out pornographic ads. Nor does it dole out ads that give out viruses.

If you have -any- of these problems, check your system for malware and/or other viruses. I've been a member of this site for over three years and, at best, could describe the 'worst' ad as slightly racy for the site. Even that was nothing you could not seen on a magazine cover or case for a movie.

So, all in all, I'm labeling this complaint as pure sophistry. Siting the old Internet rule of "Pics or it never happened." You can say whatever you want, yet with no corroborating evidence there is no legitimate issue.

Judgement: Grow up, or stay away from the site with it's alleged &quotrofanity and pornography" until you are old enough to take part in the real world.

Actualy a couple of years ago, before I was even a member of AG, there was this pop-up that showed me to another website so I clicked it. Then there was another pop-up and this one showed me porn. It was mind scarring and I pretty much made me rethink the possibilities of getting married. I tell you it was scary.

Then there was another pop-up

Yeah, but that other pop-up wasn't on ArmorGames. It might not have been entirely appropriate (assuming you're not exaggerating again) but you can't expect them to make sure every site a third party advertises has no connection whatsoever with anything some might find offensive.

Oh, grow up. If you're that sensitive you should probably try to avoid the internet completely.
