I personaly prefer The Nintendo DS projects and models, The new 3ds has 3D of course,you can surf the web,and there is a Nintendo E-Shop where you can purchase or download incase you don't like you're games any more.
On the other hand you have the PsP system with the new PsP Vita that can have the same number of pixels as an HD TV, and amazingly the same Graphics as Sony's Play Station 3.
But overall my disicion would be on the Nintendo 3Ds because you actually have an e-Shop for when you get bored. Although the Ps Vita can go online too, but on the 3Ds you can actually update the whole system stream videos and more.
well this is kinda obsolete because of the new playstation vita, and i'm sorry but the mods are a bit too strict and because it has Vs in the title it will be locked because of the battle of the system Ps3, Wii and xbox360 thread
I'm sure that if it where originals the PSP would greatly win cause the original DS wasn't that good and the PSP's graphics where pretty good for their time.

really? even if the graphic were better the ds still had many many things the psp doesnt like 2 screens, a touch screen, a mic that actually does something in some of the games and a great multiplayer option (delete the last one if the psp has that too. not sure about that one).
when a console has such things i think graphic is one of the last things you should look at
I would go with the DS. I have both the original PSP and the DS Lite.
The PSP is really great for graphics and that helps it a lot. What sucks about the PSP though is the short battery life. I will have it on the lowest brightness and it will still die in about an hour or so. I have even had it plugged into the wall and it died on me!
The DS doesn't have the best graphics but the battery life on the thing is amazing. You can play on it for like 5 hours straight and it will not die. They graphics are not horrible but they aren't close to the PSP graphics.
Well, if we compare them at the beginning, when they first came out, I'd say the PSP is better. Sure the DS has a stylus, but the PSP was better for gaming. Now, the DS has some much other stuff like cameras and things that make it better, but the PSP is better gaming. I'm still torn between them.
Honestly I like psp because of better graphics, use of the web, saving music, install games on your psp and keep them there. But instead on DS you need to buy the chips. It hasn't got that good graphics. Though it does have amazing games. Even though I like both I think psp would be just a bit better.
Well if I compare original 3DS and PSP then PSP (when comparing only devices) may be slightly better. But in my opinion DSs game library was sooo suporior that I like DS much more.
What sucks about the PSP though is the short battery life.
I have been informed that the battery life of a PSP is just as good as the battery life of a DS. Mine just sucks. Since this is true I think I would like them equally. Both have there ups and downs. The DS just has more games I like to play.
To tell u the truth I would prefer the DS because in the beginning it had started off as a old fassioned tv nintendo to the portable nintendo the game boy. But know that technology has gotten more advanced now adding the 3d to the Nintendo and they came out with the brand new Nintendo 3DS. I am a current owner to one it comes with free downloadable games and you can even put Netflix on it. So personally I would recommend the ds for this very reason.
But for the record I would also recomened the psp because it all started as a play station then to a playstation 2 then eventually they came out with playstation portable(psp) then to a playstation 3 then eventually came out with the playstation vita (ps vita). The Ps vita is almost the same thing as the origanal PsP. The only difference is that this time they added Internet and a touch screen which I think is real original to add to a psp. There is also downloadable games to.
Personally I would most likely choose the DS because it has more to offer than the psp but that is my opinion so ummm yea
