So I've noticed that the Video Games section is filling up with forums like Watch this match you don't care about here! and I'm guessing that they will soon be deleted. However, until they do get deleted and I want to sort through all the other forums, I was thinking about the ability to Hide those forums so I can easily find better ones.
What I mean is a little button by the side that says Hide. That hides the forum from you and you only, so if I pressed the Hide button on a forum, it would no longer be visible to me and I can find other forums I'm interested me, but it only hides it from me, so I could Hide it but everyone else still sees it. I then thought the same rule could easily be applied to comments.
If you accidentally hide a forum you didn't want to hide, there could be a section on your profile which says Hidden Forums and Hidden Posts. Those could be sorted from most recent being shown first, etc. You could then click on Show so that you can then see it again in the forums.
This will help with all the spam posts, so people could stop nagging the mods to do their jobs and do it themselves, without bothering other people so that they don't go hiding things from everyone just to be annoying.
I completely support this, though of course I do want them to be deleted at a time, this would be so much help, because then I wouldn't go crazy searching through every single adbot (seriously, in total, they'ved filled up about 15 pages of spam threads) thread for a real one.
Yes I totally agree, theyhave filled over 15 pages of crap every where. Armor games is a place to play games, join the community in debates, topics and play forum games. Not post about the exact asame thing every where. These watching hockey topics are flooding our forum games. I need to see my forum games, but some people had to post 50 topics about the same crap! The mods should ban the people doing this.
the mods seem to be doing the same thing that they did when AG was spazing out about the armor points being lost with the abouts and stuff.they go to bed and get it in the morning lol.so hey maybe in the morning people will wake up and they will be gone
Apologies for the upsurge in advertising threads, they seem to really be at it today. On other days you're (un)lucky to get four. As for the idea, I can see this being beneficial to annoying threads like the advertisements.

Ok, I was looking for this thread and it went from page 1 to page 3 because of the adbots spamming these threads to literally take up 2 pages of threads. This is getting ridiculous, and I know that it's not the mods fault, but the ability to do something instantly about those threads would be very beneficial.
The mods are doing a fine job at keeping this under control. If they WEREN'T doing their job, there would be at least 15 pages of live tv nonsense.
I'm not saying they're not doing a good job. I don't expect them to be watching the forums 24 hours a day. In fact, the reason I think this is a good idea is because the mods can't keep checking the forums for these threads. You can't act faster than the moment you see them, so if we can completely ignore these posts the moment we find them, checking these forums wouldn't involve checking through 3 pages of ads.
