Okay this poem is FOR FUN, it is NOT my entry.

The Sidewalk

I was down by the sidewalk,
Outside the bar; I wasn't the one to talk.
A fight broke out,
Before I knew it, there was a whack and a shout.
Druggos against Drunkies,
But to me they were all monkeys.
Then the bottles of beer were used,
What nobodies, I mused.
I was about to walk away,
But then a guy poked me, and I heard him say:
Now, don't you leave the scene,
I want you to come down to the station and tell us what you've seen.
He was an Officer, wearing white and blue,
While the other Police were attacking the fighters, too.
I got his car, and then heard it lock,
This was my night by the sidewalk.

Because you can go out
side making your eyes
seeing nature and light
So love life and search
for work instead laying
down on the sofa being extinct
