Ok so I just wanted to clear a few word and terms up for some new people and old that may get on games or on the internet and not quite know what they are talking about or others are talking about.

Also if I missed some that are common feel free to post the word with the definition and if you are a user that finds a word that is not listed here that you don't know then write the word and I will clear it up for you or another user will probably tell you. Ok then

Troll(trolling troller) - A troll is someone that puts a random post that doesn't really have anything to do with the topic. This would be like posting about doritos in the COD Put It Here Section. Also a troll usually tries to get an invoked response from someone.

Flaming(flame flamer)- Flaming is basically yelling/arguing with anyone on a post for mostly no reason and to try and make someone mad. It can also be like attacking someone with a post.

Noob(newb Nub) Originally came from the word Newbie meaning new player. A noob doesn't really know anything about the game and/or is not that good at the game.

Pwn(pwning Pwned Owned) Pwning basically means you are winning by alot. It is like owned and owning.

Hacker(cheater hacking) A hacker is someone that manipulates the game in order to win and cheats. Hacking is changing the code in the came and making the game function differently then the way it was meant to be played.

Spam(spamming) Posting something over and over again or junk that doesn't belong and was put in by a hacker or something. Also used by people to spread the word put can get very annoying and overfill the good posts.

Pro Leet elite 1337 etc. Someone good at a game or I guess whatever they are doing.

Well anyway that is all I have for now If I think of more I will post some more. But I just wanted to help those that might not understand.

But in all seriousness, your lack of "Zerg Rush OMG Kekekekeke", "Micro-", and "Macromanaging" makes me a Sad Panda.

Since no-one else is bringing these in

Flanked(aka gang banged, teamed)- When one player is put up agianst multiple enimies who ltimatley kill that one player.
M.I.A.- It means that there is a player that no one knows where they are and haven't seen in a while.
"no reg"- it is used in FPS games as a short way of saying Non registering bullet, or that their bullet should've hit the other player but because of lag the bullet myseteriously didn't count as a hit.
red (when reffering to a player, as in "he's red&quot- it usually means that the player reffered to is very low and health
Chams- usually a neon coloring of the other characters on the client's cpu. associated with cheating. A common misconception is that chams are the same thing as wallhack (next definition) when they are both different things, the cause of this misconception is alot of times chams is used together with wallhack and sometimes paired together in hack client software.
Wallhack- it is when players are abe to be seen through walls (only on the client who is cheating)
Ghost textures (aka white or bleached textures)- It is when a player mods the game to take out the textures of the game and the result is a pale gray texture that sometimes will improve computer speed.
OPK (one position kill)- it is when a player initiates the other player and kills the other player all in one move, so for example if you were camping and only shot a bullet to kill the other player without moving it would be OPK, it is hard to do since it requires some setup and accuracy.

yeh, in Total War there are a lot of user made mods, sanctioned by the creators to add new experiences or more realistic ones

Mods are like in every game. Some of the best I have played were for older games.

Flanked(aka gang banged, teamed)- When one player is put up agianst multiple enimies who ltimatley kill that one player.

What? Flanked is not that -- it's a tactic where you do not take the enemy from the front, but rather attack them at a more vulnerable position, such as from the side.

Anyone who has played Brothers in Arms would know that and. . . I've NEVER seen it used as a synonym for "gang bang" "ganked" or "teamed up on" -- or anything of that form. Only for the tactic revolving around the maneuvering around an opposition in order to reveal or safely target a vulnerable position. This could be on any scale -- whether you flank with your squad to take the building or if you position your entire army above the cliff at their side so you gain a height advantage, the element of surprise and likely diminishing them of most of their cover.

The "lack of cover" is usually the weak spot, of course.

Flank is the meaty lean part on the Side of the horse. This means that this is the side so yeah not teaming up. I didn't realize what he said earlier.

Trolls dont post random stuff in threads, if they do, they're doing it wrong. Trolls post things in threads that get a reaction (normally anger) out of people. its like pushing someones buttons over and over again purposely.
