Let us discuss our favorite games and memories from the greatest console ever made.

They can keep on improving on the graphics and the sheer size of the game worlds, but I've yet to see a game that immerses me as much as Ocarina of Time. There's a certain quality about the tale and just the right amount of openness that I feel free, but not abandoned.

Super Mario 64 is still the best 3D Mario game and had crazy good controls.

Conker's Bad Fur Day is the single most fun multiplayer game I've ever played. Psychotic little animals tearing each other apart with big guns and screaming obscenities at one another? They don't make 'em like that anymore.

I would have to agree with you there. I always love to speed run that game.

I love games made by Rare my favorite ones for the Nintendo 64 was Banjo Kazooie and Donkey Kong.

But anyway I am pretty sure there already is a thread about this and you could probably place this in the Favorite console/Video game section

I've got three Nintendo 64s still :3
4 if you count the emulator i have for my phone.

My favorite game for it was probably the original SSB, but Super Mario 64 and LOZ where up there too. Some other great games i had were
Mario kart 64
Star fox 64
Banjo Kazooie
Banjo Tooie
Pokemon Stadium

There are probably some others I'm blanking out on, but i can't go and check right now without waking anybody up.

I wouldn't say it's my favorite game ever, but definitely one of my top 3 legend of zelda games (and i think i've played every one other than spirit tracks and adventure of link).

Conker's Bad Fur Day

I never actually owned this game. I did play it on an emulator at one point, but I never really did anything.

Conker's Bad Fur Day

I heard that the singleplayer game is supposed to be really vulgar and adult-like. I guess its not supposed to be meant for kids to play. I have never played it but I love the Rare company games. Oh and Im not saying im a kid I am 19 so yeah

N64 is where the Super Smash Bros games got its start. I played the heck out of the original one and to this day it is still one of my most favourite games.

Pokemon games were also really awesome on the N64. I still sometimes try and beat my best pictures on Pokemon Snap. Pokemon Stadium was pretty awesome too. I never played Pokemon Stadium 2 until recent but I liked it a lot. The new console versions of Pokemon games never really had the same good feel as Stadium did.

I never got to play that game on the nintendo 64 but I played it on the game cube. The problem with me playing it on the game cube first is that I was already good at it and the first one sucked for me going back to it.

I just finished a 5-hour marathon of the original Mario Party. The game is based around trolling, and the tide of victory is quite a fluid beast. Easily one of the best N64 games ever.

Used to love that game. But like you said it is very time consuming but a very good fun game.

In retrospect, I also loved the Mario sport like games. Mario Tennis was pretty awesome and they added that component where if you had the game for Gameboy you could put your characters on the N64 game. Mario Golf was fun too and had a bunch of random characters who I think should make a comeback in some random Wii Game (like a new Mario Kart?). Mini Putt was fun too.

They also had that for the Super Nintendo so It wasn't really a new concept on the N64

Banjo-tooie and kazooie, easily my favorite series ever, made my childhood awesome. The levels were unique like that one level in banjo kazooie where you visit it in different seasons.Everytime I played it I was immersed in it for hours and it was almost impossible for me to stop playing.

I loved Star fox 64 as a kid. I can't recall how many times I've beaten it, probably 50-60 times. Just the coolness of the shooting and the gameplay had me hooked. I havenât played it in a while, but I think I'd probably play it tonight.

That may be but the execution was different not to mention the graphics.

No appreciation for this console..... It's not that good(even in its time) and very boring... Quite easy to beat the games.

The N64 was like the best console. Especially for its time. It had some of the very best games.

Quite easy to beat the games.

What games did you play? Almost every single one of my games for the N64 were harder to beat than almost any game I've played since even on the hardest difficulties.

Back then, game makers weren't afraid to make things tough and instead now just cater to all the bad gamers out there who can't actually beat anything, lowering the overall difficulty of almost every game.
