No single favourite one, but I did like Insidious and the PA series. Also liked the Exorcist, and when I'm in a brave state, Korean/Japanese horror films like Ju-On. Western horror films just have no kick for me, they lack the proper scare and shock factor that can send me into cardiac arrest. I actually teared while watching PA because I was so upset that the family and couple were broken up and ruined because of a vengeful spirit.
Ah, and before I forget, Shutter and Dead Silence were good shows too, although the former was watered down from it's original Thai version. Dead Silence was a ball of fun, but puppets are getting quite cliched.
I'm numb to most horror films, but one that can scare me is The Exorcism of Emily Rose. After that for general horror films, I like Friday the 13th, Halloween, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Child's Play. I grew up watching those.
I'd like to mention that for those horror films with sequels I prefer the ones that were made in the early 2000s and before that. Most of the remakes nowadays don't do it for me.

Yea same here, i always liked horror movies, the excorsist was a really good one, but i found Friday the 13th to be different, that's why i like it.
i like freddy vs. jason, the underworld movies and the excorcist. but that are only some of the horror-movies that i like, saw and hostel were good too.
Probably the movies from Elm Street like Jason,Freddy,Leatherface,Myers. Heard this new horror villain Smiley coming out, looks stupid though, here check it out.
Ummm, well, Its more of a funny horror but i loved "Shaun of the Dead" it was so funny but also really scary. Other than that i liked "the women in black" The new one with Danial Radcliffe. It was more suspense than gore, but that made it so much scarier.

Yes! Best movie ever. My brother always found it scary, apparently it has scarred him for life and really doesn't like zombies. There's only one scene though that could be considered as scary, when he walks to the shop and they play that eerie music with zombies all around him; but it's kind of funny in a way as he doesn't notice it.
